Salon Antoine

Salon Antoine is a gorgeous, exotic place in the heart of the Hillcrest community. When I first walked in I was taken by a wall painting of Venice, Italy. I immediately knew I was going to like this place. Words are not enough to describe the beauty of this painting that will make you feel like you are in heaven as soon as you walk in. What was even more impressing each mirror in the salon, reflects the Venice painting in it self. I wanted to stay there and just stare at it all day long. The rest of the salon is a very clean, bright and airy. The owner, Antoine and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. I could tell that they care about everyone who walks in, whether you are a client or just a stranger with a question. I came in a couple of times to see Antoine and each time I watched how he interacts with his clients. If I didn't know any better, I would think his clients were a part of his family. He and his staff are very personable with each client and according to Antoine no one at the salon cuts corners on services or products. The salon's mission statement truly reflects in the people who work there, don't look for quantity, look for quality. And Antoine will make sure that you get that quality every time. He is an expert in multi hair color. He has been in business in San Diego for over 30 years after hands on training all over Europe, including the fashion city of the world, Paris. This is why prices at the Antoine Salon are a just by a few bucks higher than the norm, but hey pitching in a few extra dollars for excellent service at one of the most exotic salons in San Diego is worth it. And don't forget you get that free trip to Italy.

Been going here since I was 16 and the people are just as nice. As a college student I would want to save $ by going to cheaper places and I would end up with a horrible haircut impossible to manage. Salon Antoine knows how to make your hair look its best. It is soooooo worth the price....even in this recession....nothing beats feeling like a million bucks after a haircut.

I am very picky about who cuts my hair.
I have been to salon's in the past where they just do not listen to you about how you want your hair done.

Or worse, if you ask what type of style they recommend & they will not tell you honestly.

Now I will not go see anyone else for my haircuts, except for Antoine.

First, the place is beautiful. It's small, but quaint. Venice type murals on the walls, very light & airy.

Antoine is an excellent stylist. His haircuts last twice as long because they are so precise. There are two other stylist who are also very talented.

While having a conditioning treatment I was offered a glass of wine at no additional charge.
Antoine's takes good care of you.

Even if I need a quick appointment, they always fit me in.
