I had heard heard about Olivas more than once all was good the only comment was pricey. I was so happy when my daughter was invited to a Birthday party this past Sunday and excited to see it. I was considering it for my daughters party if it lived up to what I had been told. The front entrance was very pretty and I appreciated the sign saying to wait until your party time. When we went in it was over whelming with the decor and dolls. The young women and the only employee there was dressed in jeans rolled up and looked more like she should be milking a cow than hosting a an elegant little girls dress up party honoring the birthday girl who was referred to as queen. and all the other girls were her princesses.

She rushed the girls pick a dress and the dresses were in sad shape if they were to big she put a big safety pin to make it fit. she slopped their hair hair up opened a drawer full of sorry looking flowers shoved it in their hair and sprayed their hair with cheap hair spray she applied make up and polish and spayed more stuff to dry their names. she then sent them to chose jewelry and told them to pick shoes. My child did not get make up by her choice, she said it all smelled. Let me skip to the food and beverage food was cut hot dogs so cold you could see the fat dripping , pizza slice the size of an index finger dessert was cheap candy and the cake for the queen was insulting for the $400.00 paid for nine children.

The girls were rushed and the Queen was not treated like a Queen. as I walked through looking at all the decor things were in ill repair the dolly on the rocking horse made the most horrible noise half of the things did not work. the queens seat was in need of a good cleaning and all the dolls and bears and bunnies were falling apart and had a god 1/4 or more of grease and dust.

If this was my child party I would have had the owner called the minute I saw the condition. Sadly the mom in this case had not been there for several years when she did her older daughters party and she was practically in tears but did exactly what we have to do when you are a mom.

If the owner of Oliva's doll House wants to know who I am write it on this web site and I will be happy to meet you. I was heart sick to see your business in this condition it is hard to imagine that the person whos love and labor went into this could possibly know what has happen to it.

Tdisappointed

I have had a party here for my daughter and 16 of her friends. It was one of her best parties ever. She had it when she was 5 and is now wanting another one there at 9. To the commenter who mentioned Chuck E Cheese...it's a completely different kind of party, if you preferred that to Olivia's it may be that you and your child are not quite ready for the Olivia's "experience". Our party was one that the children spoke of for months, where as the Chuck E Cheese parties are a dime a dozen. As far as entering a "closed" party, I believe they may have been just as rude as you were. Who enters a private party and expects to be welcomed? If you are interested in their establishment, you could always call and find out they are opened at limited times.

I am the owner of Olivia's Doll House. I find the reviews on this website to be insulting, ignorant ..and unsubtanciated. If you are going to critisize. At least provide some " back it up " !!

How would the woman who complained, like it, if some random person walked into HER private party ??? NOT !! For sure she would ask for her $$ back, if that happened to her.

Mom's get angry when strangers " crash " their parties.
YOU NEED TO FILTER ..the comments you post.

The internet is a cest-pool. that needs to be policed, for accurancy. Trust our website.www.oliviasdollhousetearoom. Our reputation speaks for it's self. I don't need to hide behind " false " press. Do the research yourself. Take responsibility and be pro-active

I dropped by to take a look & thought it was really cute.Later on, my daughter was invited to a birthday party there. The girls had fun & it was very organized. However, it was very expensive & I didn't think they really did that much while they were there. The idea is good, but I think they need to do more with the price they're charging.

I'm also a curious inquirer, but I easily avoided your mistake. Did you read the beautiful sign on the door? It reads something like, "Party in progress, only invited guests enter please." i agree they could have been more kind & reassuring in their response to your intrusion. But, if you were the party inside, you would appreciate a similar courtesy. What response would you expect if you walked into a play in progress without a ticket, "just for a peek"? They offer private parties, not retail shopping.

I walked into Olivia's one day, just curious about their tea house. My first time in, and one of the staff members very rudely told me to "get out", that they were in the middle of a party. I didn't realize and I certainly didn't mean to intrude. I just wanted to peek inside, and learn more about their services. Needless to say, I will never go there for any reason. She could have at least said hello and asked nicely if I could come back later.
