I have 2 dogs who are cared for by the wonderful staff at Parkway Pet Hospital. My dog Nala's life was saved by Dr. Mark and his staff after she ingested a wire from my iron cord. When I was a basket case, crying like a baby thinking I might have to let her go, he started crying too! I have to admit the vet is not cheap, but would you want to go to a cheap doctor? I have been to other vets who are a bit less expensive, but I never felt that they really cared about my pets.I welcomed another dog into my family and she is also seen by Dr. Mark. I would not want any other vet to care for her.

The staff there are so warming and inviting! Especially Dr. Ford!!! He genuinely cares about the animals! And he does NOT try to get money out of people, to say that is just ridiculous! If you ask him how much something is, he doesn't know because he is there to take care of the animal, not to make bank off of people!
If you are concerned about money, TELL them and they will COMPLETELY work with your budget!

I've been going there for 4 years now. I have no one to compare them too but it seems they have done a good job. Can anyone tell me if $1,500 is too expensive for taking out bladder stones. I know each case is different. They seem to go through a lot of different doctors but they all seem knowledgeable.

Dr. Ford! All he wants is money from his clients. Clients complain about his attempt to try and sell them things that the pet doesn't even need on a daily basis!

UNPROFESSIONAL, DIFFICULT, RIPOFF, FIND A DIFFERENT VET!!!! I've taken my dog to Parkway Pet Hospital 3 times, and every time I got ripped off. I went as far as saying "I only want BORDATELLA AND DISTEMPERMENT SHOTS, nothings else, just those two shots," and when I went to pay my bill, there were other shots in it, doubling my bill. The same day, a woman who had a signed estimate of what the dr. was going to do, and the associated charges, was arguing for 20 minutes because of $200 worth of charges that wasn't supposed to be there.
Every visit I've had, I've been charged for things that I had no idea they were doing to my dog. A good business should walk you through the procedures, telling you exactly what they are going to do, and what each thing will cost, and make sure that you understand and are okay with it. I've had problems every visit. I will never go there again. Don't waste your time or money, find another vet.

This hospital is full of very friendly, helpful people. They are knowledgeable is all fields and will coast you through the care of your new pet. Although they are highly rated the cost can create a problem, but these days when is it not?
