I highly recommend RC Auto to anyone. I've been taking all my auto repair needs to them for 30 years and have never had a problem. They are great people, very fair.

I took them a working truck with 68,000 miles on it. The problems i knew, but i dont know what was causing the problems. My problems where simple to describe, my speedometer hadnt worked for a few weeks, and my overflow gas line i had intentionally plugged because it was leaking all over my drive way. I explained that the gas line was plugged because even after driving short distances my engine was building up pressure and causing it to leak gas whereever it was parked. The gasline itself was not the problem, it was doing its job but i had to plug it so i could get it to a "mechanic" to fix it. This is what happened.
I got my truck back, the speedometer is worked, at first glance that was amazing for me. They replaced the overflow line that i had plugged, good job. The only other visible change was that they replaced my gas cap. Awesome. Not sure it was necessary but ill take their word for it. Now lets talk about what problems they caused to my truck.
Driving around the block, my truck randomly revs up and down, and if my foot is not on the clutch then it will try to go without me touching the gas. If i drive my truck across town, the reving gets worse and worse, until it stops. When it stops, i lose almost all my vehicales torque. The reving goes away but i have to have my foot completely and totally off the clutch to get enough torque to make my truck go forward. The engine is screaming and wanting to pull itself but the torque just isnt there. Lastly, if that isnt enough problems for your pickle, upon returning from Walmart after these 2 problems i started to smell what i thought was somebody burning a BBQ. The smell followed me for several blocks and i locked at my temperature gauge. My truck isnt overheating but it smells horrible, like its burning oil or something.
The best part about it is, i paid these guys 400 dollars to do this to my working vehichle. Like i said before, i knew what the problems where, i probably could have googled the problems and done it myself but just felt like being lazy. Alas, I am stuck with a broken vehicle. Completely 100 percent pissed.

Ask for a functional check prior to smog. If you fail this test, there is no need to perform a smog check. This should be a cortesy.

These people do a great job with customer service and repair. I've been using their services for 30 years. I've never had a problem with them.
