Gyro Hobbies

This is a family owned business, and all of the staff are young, friendly, and knowledgeable about their specialty area of RC hobbies. Among them there is a guy for RC helicopters, RC cars, RC trucks, RC jets, and RC airplanes. The store is always well stocked and ordering is fast. I have never seen so many remote control helicopters and jets out on display. In fact, no hobby shop that I have been to has so many RC jets and airplanes, and I've never seen the large scale ones up-close until I went here. HUGE jets with real jet engines that are LOUD.

Probably my favorite part about this shop is they manufactured their own line of RC LiPo batteries called Black Series that are on par with the best brands in the business like Thunder Power and Turnigy, but a fraction of the cost. They include a soldered connector with each battery too which is above and beyond.

"Gyro" has long been a great neighborhood resource for the model builder, RC flyer or driver, or craft-person. They have recently undergone a huge remodeling, transforming the shop into a true world class hobby shop with an inventory second to none. The best part is the staff. Their knowledge and advice is unmatched anywhere else. Gyro Hobbies is a place that once you visit them, you will be drawn to visit them over and over. Gyro Hobbies is a truly great hobby shop.

The store is stocked with models and model paraphernalia. It has a vary wide selections of paints, building materials, applications, and special model accessories and supplies. If you love to build models, you won't want to miss this one!
