Some friends had been raving about Bayside, so I finally decided to try it out & boy am I glad I did. The comfortable atmosphere & wonderful food is truly a joy to experience. The staff was friendly & I will definitely be going back.

I love this place. The pillows in the booths are a nice touch and the salad is the best part of my meal. I've dined here several times and look forward to coming back each time. I've also attended several company parties that rented out the entire restaurant. The service is really first class. Great atmosphere at the bar and great place to have Sunday Brunch.

Love this place. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere. Great music. We go often. You've got to give this place a try. Good place for friends to have drinks and dinner or just drinks and appetizers in the bar.

Bayside is one of our OC favorites! We try to go at least once every other month! The oysters in season are great as well as the crab cakes. The pepper fillet and the venison is outstanding. The gnocchi is mouthwatering! Oh the desserts....the banana bread pudding is so good, as well as the creme brule. The staff is very attentive as well. If you are a veggie eater, they will do whatever you wish! I suggest the Duck Horn merlot with dinner, yum yum!!

My boss took the girls in the office for appetizers and drinks. We had a great view and the service was great. The appetizers were filling and we went back for lunch two days later.

Great spot. It is a good place to go for drinks/appetizer or for a drink/dessert. Dinner is good too. Often they will have live entertainment. Fairly pricey.

From beginning to end the experience was second to none. The atmosphere and ambiance was incredible, the food was very flavorful and great value for the money, I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends because its one of my favorites.

Contemporary American Cuisine - always fantastic. Wonderful selections for lunch and dinner and the Sunday Brunch is to die for. Service is always polite. Great atmophere!

My sister works here so we had to try it. Sister or not, this place is excellent. We sat in the bar area and ordered tapas appetizers. This is the eay to go. You can try many things from the menu with out having to order just one big meal. From 5-7 pm nightly they are all piced 5.95. What a deal. We tried 7 of them. They were all SO good. The drinks were all so tasty as well. We plan on going back as soon as possible to try all the others. Highly recommended.
Pros: Free valet, great bar menu, tasty food
Cons: not for kids. you can bring them but it's not a place they would like.

Bayside is amazing for groups. I can't say enough about how awesome they were at serving us. The food was also amazing. My group went there for prom and we reserved the wine tower. It was very nice and formal. It fit our 38 person group perfectly. We had some problems with our limo so many of us were in bad moods when we got there. We got there an hour late but the servers understood and were great, they never rushed us! We were running late so they packed all 38 of our desserts individually. They really made it how we wanted it, taking each request and making it happen. I really recommend anyone going there, whether it's for big groups or a romantic date. I had a great time!

This restaurant is already very lovely and there is always some soothing jazz entertainment, but I went here for brunch the first time and was impressed. Only $24 for a 3 course brunch (with more than ample portions) and a bottomless glass of champagne. Service is attentive and the food is delicious. It is definitely a great way to spend your Sunday morning.

Beautiful decoration, trendy, creative foods, nice seating area,,,, good factors for a romantic date and dining. If you like to impress a first date, this is a great restaurant to do it.
The fixed meal is excellence for about $45.

When placing a resevation for my wife's birthday the hostest said that she had the perfect table for us on the terrace with a bay view. She asked for my wife's name to note her birthday in my reservation. To my dismay the view of the bay was a tiny sliver of water. We weren't seated at the terrace edge to enjoy the view and it didn't seem to matter that it was my wife's birthday. Personally I could care less for a view and special treatment. However, because my expectations were set otherwise my evening wasn't very good.
My wife seemed to enjoy the evening. The inside of the restaurant is trendy and comfortable. The terrace is quaint and quiet with heaters. The food was well prepared. I also enjoyed the gnocchi and venison. I'd prefer to sit inside. Dinner for 2 was about $100.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food, never-ending wine list, great service (I felt like I was royalty) and the type of place you want to linger after your dinner because it's so nice just sitting there after you finished off the tower dessert, sipping your wine, listening to the live jazz. I love all the food, particularly the gnocchi and venison.
