Chapala has great food, generous portions, bean dip appetizers with every dine in meal, and friendly service. The Camarones Costa Azul are delicious if you aren't watching your figure!

Chapala's is a local favorite for many. They serve delicious Mexican food and have a very nice bar also. Chapalas is located in a nice shopping center.

The atmosphere is very nice. Roomy and stylish. That's about it. The food is truly terrible. My combination plate arrrived barely warm. The enchilada had no sauce on it. The shredded beef was all dried out. The true clinker was the powdered cheese on top of the enchilada. They didn't even use real cheese. The chile rellano has a white cheese sauce on top of it. Again this place is too CHEAP to use real cheese. The beans and rice had no flavor at all.

A terrible experience. At 6pm on Saturday night only 4 tables were filled. If Chapala's doesn't get their act together, they will be closed very soon.

Beware, this place is truly not worth it!!
