I went HERE after a terrible experience at another salon.
The first salon ruined my hair, so I went to Vogue Salon based off of reviews. I must say, from the time I made my appointment to the time I left I was completely happy with how I was treated.

Now for the color:
The first salon (Not vogue salon, a different one) I went to made my hair a weird yellow when I asked for platinum highlights. I was so distraught over the whole thing that my husband suggested we go look at wigs. I found the perfect color and took a swatch of the color to Liz at vogue salon. I went for a total change. I went from a messed up yellow blonde to a beautiful chestnut brown with auburn highlights.
She not only corrected my hair color she perfected it!!! I am so impressed with her, I will never go anywhere else as long as I am in the OC. Who knows I may even fly to see her if I move elsewhere. The color came out EXACTLY like the swatch/pic I gave her!
Now for the cut:
I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted as well. And that too, came out EXACTLY like I wanted (just like the pic). Not to mention how she styled my hair? I had the best blow-out I have ever had at a salon.

She is a true professional. And her assistant Jen was fantastic as well!

My hair heart-break (from the other salon) has now been healed by Liz and Jen at Vogue Salon! I would give 10 stars if I could.

Pros: Friendly service, Best color, best cut, best blow-out.

Cons: The place itself could use a little makeover.

I went to a salon that had a whole bunch of glowing reviews (Salon Papillon) and recieved the worst color of my life from the owner (!). Now I make sure to analyze the reviews very carefully and I am almost certain that these 5 star reviews are shills. 53 obscenely glowing five star reviews, you must be kidding. Based on that, I would never go here. I just wanted to warn everyone.

I have searched high and low for a stylist that could give me the exact shade of blonde I wanted, an amazing cut, and style. Liz Ward is that stylist! Liz spends time going through every detail of what you're looking for and delivers amazing results! I highly recommend!

I felt a need to change my hair stylist and a friend of mine recommended Kai to me. The atmosphere in the salon was warm and welcoming. Kai was very helpful and kind. I highly recommend Kai at Vogue Salon.

Im a lazy mid 20s guy. I hate getting my hair cut because I never really know what to do with it. I like a low maintenance haircut that doesnt require much styling and infrequent visits. That's where Kai comes in. She cuts my hair pretty short about an inch or so in lenth. Then I just let it go for about 6 months. As it grows out I can style it if I want or just towel dry and go. No one else has been able to reproduce it. Usually, I end up with long bangs or a weird neck line from other places, but something about her cut doesnt require anything else. She is the only person who cuts my hair now. Bottom line go see Kai and you wont be disappointed.

I have been going to Kai for 4 years now. She is a great stylist and very receptive to what I want. I am a low maintenance kind of girl who likes to avoid using too many products in the morning, Kai cuts my hair so I can literally wash and go and I still look amazing. Kai also did my hair for my wedding and it came out even better than I had imagined!

I adore this salon, especially the owner Rina Anderson. I have total confidence when she cuts my hair, and I am always 110% happy with the results. Ever since I have started getting my hair done here, I am constantly getting compliments on my hair.

The staff is very professional yet friendly. They always use top-of-the-line products. Good magazine and tea selection as well :)

I've been in Orange County for 5 years now and have tried several different salons and stylists. No one could "fit the bill" so hence the drive back to LA to get a great color and haircut. Well no more!!

I've been going to Vogue Salon since I was about 12 or 13. Since I stopped going to Rainbow Kids, Steve has been the only one I'll let take scissors to my hair. The only Cons are that they don't let you make bad -teenage- decisions! My hair always comes out looking great.

I have been going to VSS for years and have always been so happy with the entire experience. From the reminder phone call, to the location, customer service, products, relaxed atmosphere. I always leave happy and laughing. My hair looks better and better with each appointment. Awesome blond just doesn't grow out of your head like this!

Kai is a phenomenal stylist. I have been driving from the LA area for 8 years to have her cut my hair. During that time, I have tried at least 6 different stylists in the LA area and no one even comes close to Kai. WELL worth the drive for me!

After a haircut from Kai, I can wash, dry and go!

Pros: The precision haircut by Kai is amazing!

I've never gone to an actual salon for prom, I searched online and i picked vogue salon. I called up and told them to give me the best updo salon artist and they gave me Daisy.
She is amazing! best updo artist ever
When i took my prom pictures so many people pulled me aside and complimented my hair.
After hours and hours of dancing my hair was still up and beautiful!
I highly recommend Daisy to anyone. She is really sweet!
The cost of my updo was 80 dollars plus tip 95. The minimum is ten, but she did such a great job I gave her a little something extra.
She is amazing.

I have been going to Vogue Salon for years. A friend of mine recommended me and I have in turrn, recommended many of my friends here! Steve Hernandez does a fantastic job every time. A master with color and you walk out of the salon with a cut that works through until your next appointment! Very professional salon. The owner, Donato is very welcoming and constantly encouraging his staff to keep their technique sharp with mandatory educational classes on-site for his stylists.

Pros: Not a stuffy or snooty salon. Like family and comfortable.

Cons: Parking during high traffic times.

Kai is a visionary. She can see what is best suited to your face, personality and image desired. She keeps me up to date and makes suggestions to keep me current with the trends. I'm a mature woman who leaves Kai's chair feeling that I look the best I possibly can. I carry an attitude out the door of confidence, which translates into success in my daily life.

I have used many high end salons throughout Orange County and have found that Vogue Salon and specifically Deana to be consistently great. There is an appreciation for my business and time and care is taken to ensure a great result every time. I have found this attention to detail lacking in other high end salons. I believe that it stems from the top as the owners are hands on in providing a great environment as well as setting the example of great work are care for all of their clients. If you are looking for a great salon, your look is over as it does not get much better than Vogue.

Anyone looking for a new hairstylist---I would highly recommend Deana at Vogue Salon. My hairstylist moved and I had to find someone new. Someone recommended me to Deana, so I gave her a try. I can honestly say that she gives me the best haircuts I've ever had, I'm so glad I found her! She gave me a new style---nothing too drastic---just updated my look with some layers. She also found the right color for me, and the right shampoo and conditioner. I could not be happier with the way my hair looks.

Deana Dankha cut my hair and did an amazing job. I was nervous about such an edgy, hip haircut but she assured me that it would look great. She was fantastic throughout everything and really did a great job giving me tips on what products to use and how to style my new-do. I absolutely love this place! I've been there twice for color and haircut, Deana is awesome, she recomended color and style and I love it, I get so many compliments. All stylists are so pleasant, always checking if you need something to drink or read etc. You see people entering the salon with a smile and leaving with a smile.

I have been going to Vogue Salon for a couple of years now. I started going there because of Kai. She is an amazing hairstylist! Her attention to detail is impeccable. After being her client for several years, I will follow her to whatever Salon she is at. She is a true perfectionist and is always perfecting her skills. She takes her time with you and works at finding exactly what you need and want in your hair. She cares and it is obvious with every visit!

I just moved into town and was terrified on the thought of using a new hair dresser. I thought I would have to endure many bad cuts and color before finding a stylist with skills. After doing a lot research, I went to see Liz Ward at the Vogue Salon. Liz is a "master" with color and gave me the most flattering cut ever. My hair has never looked better and I have received so many complements!! The salon is extremely professional, polite and was a relaxing atmosphere. THANK YOU LIZ, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

I've been seeing Tim at Vogue for at least ten years. The salon is great. They offer good product and their stylists are first rate. Tim has worked with my hair as a blonde and as a red. His color and style choices are excellent. I typicaly walk in and tell him to "do your thing" because he always makes good choices and considers my skin color, facial features, and season when choosing color and what type of cut. I lived in Orange County when I first started going to Vogue and now I live in Los Angeles. I still drive down to Vogue every four to eight weeks just to see Tim because he is the only person I trust with my hair.

Cons: They don't offer skincare anymore.

I have been fortunate enough to have Kai as my stylist for a few years now. I trust her completly with my hair care needs. She as great insight to what looks good on each individual from color, cut ,and style. My mom and my sister see her too. We've all been stopped at different times with people asking "who does your hair?" and we always rave about Kai at Vogue Salon. You won't be disapointed you tried her out. My hair always looks super healthy and shiney. Not only will you get the best stylist (Kai) from this salon but you will be highly satisfied by the front desk staff and atmosphere of the salon itself. I'm tellin' you, you should go and check her out.She's the BEST!

I truely love going to Vogue Salon, everything about the salon embodies proffesionalism, great customer service and serious hair talent. Donato is my main stylist but I have gone to many of the other fabulous stylist as well, one thing is for sure I have always been more than satisfied with my million dollar look that they create for me! Another huge benefit that Donato has is his incredible front desk staff, Dino is my personal favorite he makes me feel so special. He always has this great attitude, proffesional demeanor and makes me feel like he is so happy see me. I can always count on Dino to find the perfect appointment and thats not always easy with all of my demands! I can honestly tell you all, that every single person makes me feel like a Queen when I am at Vogue and let me tell you this place is BUSY and I can tell that everyone feels the same, you can tell by their happy faces. Vogue Salon...Land of 10,000 Queens (and a lot of Kings too gentlemen)

After 12 years my hair stylist left California. I was in a complete panic. Then a friend of mine recommended Tim Fisk at Vogue Salon. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Everyone was so pleasant and attentive. No pretense or drama here. Tim and his assistant, Natalie, have been taking care of me for 2 years now. My cuts are great and really hold their shape; Tim always has great suggestions for new cuts. (Natalie gives the best scalp massage when shampooing your hair-heavenly). My hair has never been healthier!!!

I've been a client of Rina's since 1994, when a patient of mine recommended her w/ the highest confidence. From the day I walked in I was impressed w/ the professionalism of Rina and her friendliness. She has listened to me from day one, I have become so trusting of her, that when I need a cut, I just say "cut it". I can always style it afterwards too. The salon uses the best products in the world and are worth every penny. Since I've been coloring my hair it has never looked so healthy and natural. Where ever Rina goes I'll follow. When I'm there I also love to watch the other clients walk in needing something done and walking out looking fabulous.

I actually found Kai a few years ago and I have been lucky to have done so!
Not only does she do my cut and color, but I trust her so much she did my hair for my wedding (and I have NEVER gotten so many compliments!).
You definitely get what you pay for plus much much more!!!!
I would recomend Kai to anyone...and in fact have! Not only does my entire family now get to enjoy her skills, but many of my friends also!

I was a walk-in three years ago after I let my hubby cut my hair...it was a disaster. I was lucky that Tim Fisk had a cancellation and he gave me one of the best cuts I had ever had. I have gone to Tim ever since. He takes the time to get the cut exactly correct - he knows how to deal with my weird waves in odd places on my head and he does great color. He colors my hair (since I am going gray) and then weaves some blond. I have had more compliments on my hair since he took me on as a client. Additionally, he makes sure I know how to dry my hair so it looks great after my appointment. It is a friendly but reserved atmosphere which I believe is preferred by most. He also has ideas to make changes when I get bored with my style. Tim is the best!

Kai gives amazing haircuts. I have been going there for many years, and I have never been disappointed. She really listens and gives you exactly what you want, but she also has great input as she has a great eye for what looks good on YOU. She's amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone.

I have been going to Liz for almost 20 years and she's the best. I found Liz by asking around for a stylist who was good with color and wouldn't just chop off my long hair. I feel fortunate to have found Liz. She is very patient and eventually talked me into a hair style that was more flattering for me and even though I was reluctant to try it - I love it and have gotten so many complements on it as well as people suddenly think I've lost weight...
I see her teaching her assistants and other stylist as well as going to NY hair shows to keep on top of the newest technology and techniques as well as teach classes. She's really great you won't go wrong!

Liz was referred to me by a friend who has been going to her for over 20years. Each time I saw my friend she had the CUTEST new style and color... right out of a magazine. Just adorable. I went to her and she did amazing things with my hair. I have tight curly long hair, and it is difficult to have a style, but I took a picture out of a magazine and Liz made my hair look just like it. She didn't chop my hair off, which was a first for me.

Us Brits are so picky when it comes to who styles our hair! I had searched high and low for a great stylist. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found Tim Fisk at Vogue Salon. Also a fellow Brit, Tim does a brilliant job of both cutting and coloring! He's always consistently good! I use to drive to North Hollywood to get my hair colored (it was a half day ordeal) because I could never find anyone in the OC that used a high-quality product that made your hair look and feel natural. Now I have LIZ, she's my ace in the hole. I'm continously being complimented on the look and color of my hair. Liz accomodates my busy schedule and gets me in and out quickly. No more half day ordeals to have hair that looks and feels beautiful.

In 1991, when I moved my law practice to Newport Beach, I became acquainted with Rina at Vogue Salon. At that time I had very light blond hair which required a double process of bleach and toner. I had tried several other beauty salons, but until I met Rina no one could put on a bleach without overlapping and causing breakage. Rina's talents are not limited to being a colorist. She knows how to cut and style hair to make a woman look glamorous and appealing without compromising class and sophistication. After eighteen years, I still rely on Rina to tell me what looks good on me which, as of late, includes shoulder length hair that is light brown at the roots with heavy blond weaves. Rina has taught me the best products for my hair and is always available to discuss various options for change. Rina deserves a five star rating all by herself.

If you want to experience the BEST hair cut, style, color, of your life...then I have two words for you: LIZ WARD! How do I know you might ask? Well, I have been a client of Liz's for over 25 years. In fact, when I used to live in Palm Springs, I made the drive to see Liz every 4 weeks - yes, she's that good! Seriously, Liz is the consummate professional, with a true gift from Heaven above. I would starve before I would miss my appointment with Liz! Make an appointment for yourself and see what I mean, you won't regret it!

Greg Crose is an exceptional stylist. He has been working with my difficult hair for over 10 years. From short, blunt bobs, to long layers, he has always made my hair look its best. He is an expert colorist and keeps current on the new trends in cutting and hair treatments. The stylists at Vogue Salon use and will recommend great products for all hair types. I've always been pleased with my results. Greg is awesome!

If you want to have your hair done by a real professional who really enjoys what she does and is on the cutting edge, go see Liz Ward. You will not regret it. I have been going to Liz for many years and have never had a bad experience. I trust her 110% and if she wants to try something new; I let her go for it. She reads her clients very well and more importantly listens to what they have to say. Liz's specialty is coloring; I've seen her work some real miracles with people who have abused their hair with over coloring, bad products, etc. The salon is busy, but always treats all clients in the most professional manner. You will do yourself a favor by treating yourself to Liz.

I just moved to the area and I must have asked 25 people for hair colorist recommendations. Since everyone had different opinions (and the subsequent searches resulted in all sorts of reviews!) I decided to spend a week or so researching the top colorists in orange county. I finally (nervously) decided to go see Liz at Vogue Salon in Newport. I made an appt for the following Sat. I had only made an appointment for color, but I really wanted to squeeze in a trim and she was happy to make it happen. The care from EVERYONE was phenomenal but Liz really took her time and I left the salon with color I LOVE. My fiance told me that night at dinner that my hair had never looked better. I am so happy that I have found a salon I am happy with. In the past I have been difficult to please and Liz and her team did an excellent job! I cant wait to go back!

It's so satisfying finding a perfect match for life's necessities, like doctor, dentist, car repair, dry cleaners -- and not to be dismissed-- a GREAT hair salon. Vogue Salon is it! I've been seeing Donato for years and years, and I'm as pleased with him now, as ever. I love that he is totally "available" and open to collaboration on color and style. He can capture my rather inarticulate wishes and translate them into a style and color that is uniquely suited to me, my facial structure and the qualities or limitations of my hair. I like the products he uses and the importance he places on continual staff training. The positive reviews of Vogue Salon, by individuals and the press, are absolutely reliable. Go!

This salon exceeds expectations. Donato is an artist whose medium is hair. He's a hair-styling genius who listens to what you want and creates a sensational hairstyle just for you. He also is a great teacher and will patiently explain exactly how to get the same result at home.

Merrily knows haircolor like Tiger Woods knows golf. She's a real pro who customizes color and makes sure you know how to keep it up. I have red hair which is prone to fading. However,by using the salon products recommended by Donato and Merrily, my haircolor looks rich and radiant even weeks after coloring.

The staff at Vogue is extremely professional and competent. The result is a consistently pleasant salon experience.

Cons: Parking may be difficult at lunch time.

Donato has operated an exceptional salon year after year at both the Newport Beach location and the St. Regis, Monarch Beach location. His staff is polite, professional, talented and attentive. The stylists seem to have a passion for the business and are educated on the latest techniques and trends. Donato has made top level service a priority. Because of the attention to detail and the high level of service, it's not a coincindence when you leave Vogue Salon you not only look great, but feel great as well.
