5 Stars: Excellent Indian sweets (by barna d.)

This used to be a restaurant before but now it is a solely a sweet shop with some boxed savory (salty/spicy) stuff. The sweets are wonderful. The kalakaand is the best. They make that fresh maybe many times a day as they run out of it. The rasmalai is also great. So far whatever sweets have tried are great. Their fried/salty stuff is ok ok.

5 Stars: Great Food (by priya v.)

I love their Spinach Samosas and their masala Chai (tea). This place also has a very big selection of India sweets. The way they package the sweets for specia occasions (Diwali) is also very creative. Their take out menu is extensive.

PROS: Great food
CONS:

5 Stars: Amazing food (by Shivakumar J.)

Rangoli is a small restaurant located near Halford and El Camino. Not many people know about this place. However they serve very good food. They serve free tea for customers (and this spicy indian tea is very good). The entres are all very good. I would recommend their Shahi Paneer - Its just classic. They also sell various north indian sweets and they are really good. The place is in a corner which not many folks know about. Also sometimes its very difficult to find parking here.

If you want to try authentic north indian food, this is one of the best places in the valley. The prices are also very affordable. My sister who moved to Wisconsin from the Bay area, misses this place to this day.
