Battery Hut

I purchased a brand new battery special ordered $45, and the very next day it said "low battery" on the screen. Onwer claimed the new battery was the wrong battery. (Questionable?)

Staff is not knowledgeable, and if you ask questions the answers could be very unclear.

Wanted a refund, but that was refused.

I'd rather go elsewhere, for a quality product and get what I pay for.

The 18 Volt, NiCad batteries for my cordless drill won't hold a charge anymore, so I called Battery Hut.
The Salesman was polite and said they could replace the cells, but it wouldn't be worth it! He said there are 6 to 8 cells, costing $5/6 each plus labor. so about $50 per battery. Sears has the drill, battery and charger in a case for $21.95. Does anyone but a replacement battery for twice the cost of a new drill? How does Battery Hut survive?

I went to this store to get a battery for my camcorder which was discontinued a while ago. The salesman there was polite, and knew what he was doing, so I bought the battery that fits my electronic. The battery lasted about 30-40 minutes, which isn't as much as the other batteries. But still I got it at a reasonable price, so I would recommend this store.

This is a quirky little shop that really sells nothing but batteries. That is either a pro or a con, depending on your point of view. Do you have a rare watch or a hard to find camera? Odds are that you will find the exact battery at the batter hut. Do you want to pick up a pack of gum or a bag of chips when you go buy your batteries? Then the battery hut is not for you. I'm not sure if they special order or not, because honestly, no matter how unique I thought the battery was, the battery hut had it in stock. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful. They know their batteries!

PROS: They stock every battery under the sun
CONS: They ONLY stock every battery under the sun
