Iron Skillet Cafe

We had not eaten here in years. Went a while back the food was very good and reasonably price. The service was exellant and friendly. Seemed very clean.

The Iron Skillet Cafe is the last affordable family restaurant in Los Gatos. The humongous, trademark cinnamon rolls are incredible, as are all of the fresh-baked daily breads and bakery items. Mostly standard American-style foods, there are a few tasty Mexican dishes as well. Any kind of sandwich is highly recommended; that fresh bread alone makes them worth twice what they cost. Entrees range from about $6 to around $16 for their priciest steak. Many of these dishes are big enough for two people, so you might want to request an extra plate. The Iron Skillet does make pizza, but it's not that good, and the price should be enough to send most pizza fans to a true pizzeria instead.
