Dr. B is incredibly thorough and takes every precaution imaginable. I am truly lucky to have located him. He has a very calm and reassuring demeanor. He is incredibly communicative and avails himself whenever I have questions. This is quite an unusually glowing trait in the medical profession. Both my fiance and I go to him. You can't go wrong with Dr. B. He's always the consummate medical professional. Thank you for such great service and attention.

I was so glad to find Dr. Borookhim. I've lived in L.A for quite a while and have gone to a number of doctors over the years, but only when I met Dr. Borookhim did I feel that I had finally found my doctor. In his office I not only felt important and cared about, but also that I was in extremely capable hands. Plus he's young, which means I can look forward to a lifetime of care from a truly phenomenal doctor.

I was referred to Dr Borookhim to be cleared for surgery and by the time I left his office I had decided he would be my doctor. It was extremely refreshing to finally meet a doctor who puts care and health of patients first.
Two weeks prior to visiting Dr Borookhim, I had seen a doctor at UCLA. For starters getting the appointment with the UCLA doctor was like pulling teeth and worse, she was scarcely in the room long enough to listen to the reason for my visit. No wonder she missed a vital diagnosis which Dr Borookhim pointed out within 2 minutes of observation.
Dr Borookhim was very patient, he listened and answered every question I posed to him, and trust me I had a lot of questions. He was personally involved and hands on from start to finish. He did not just refer me; His office personally handled my referrer, schedule and ensured I was seen ASAP. Dr Borookhim personally followed up and monitored my progress via email and phone, which in my opinion beats house calls.
He is very detail oriented and professional and still manages to be very charming. I was completely amazed when he got pen and paper and illustrated the reason for my irregular heart beat. Its a good felling to have a doctor I can rely on and I am extremely delighted to have Dr Borookhim as my doctor.

This doctor has called me back (promptly) even when it wasn't an emergency and he was out-of-state. Recently, I was in a lot of pain and called for an appointment. He was leaving early and couldn't initially accommodate me. Ultimately, he drove back to his office at the end of the day just to see me. In addition, I was impressed - and relieved- by the fact that when I apologized for the inconvenience, he didn't use it as an opportunity to make me wrong/glorify himself for going the extra mile for a patient.

I've been this doctor's patient for less than a year and generally am very healthy, so it's not like we go back a long way or that I'm a VIP patient in that I generate a lot of revenue for him. He's just a really decent guy!

In addition to being prompt for appointments and accessible (he uses e-mail, as well), I also notice that Dr. Borookhim isn't the kind of doctor who tries to soak you for additional fees when it comes to telling you your test results. The more I see, the more I like about this doctor... So yes, I would definitely recommend him!

Pros: attentive, dedicated, kind, straight-shooter, goes out of his way for patients
Cons: if you're looking for someone who believes in alternative medicine, you'll have to go elsewhere

He is open to discussion and seeks and listens to patient input. As my medical team leader, his referrals have been excellent. Aside, his office is run in a professional and efficient manner.
