I have taken my dogs to this place for more than 10 years. I have a Corgi and a Cairn Terrier now, and before these dogs I have had a Maltese Poodle and a Doxie which went here too. This is a very good place. They have always been reliable, with nice service and professional styling. I have only good recommendations for them.

We have a lovely 10 year old Golden Retriever, who needed a haircut.

The vet recommended this groomer. She had a bath and a "teddybear" haircut and she looks like a puppy again and smells so good!!

They were very careful with our dog, Glory, as she has a sore back, and made her feel not itchy any more. We all really appreciate how well they treated her and us.

We are thankful to our vet and to Chez Jeanne for all of their help.

Glory is enjoying her haircut, she acts like a puppy now too. I wish we would have gotten the haircut sooner!! We will take her there for baths now and keep her teddy bear puppy look.

Thanks again Chez Jeanne!

Our Veterinarian also recommended Chez Jeanne. We have used this groomer many, many times and they are very caring, thorough and kind. They are always prompt and our dog is always happy to go. A pleasant place for grooming.

Our dog Millie, a 10 lb white coton de tulear (a small white dog) see her at www.generatorjoe.net on the front page), was paralysed at this groomer. BEWARE! See Yelp for other complaints about this groomer.

We took our dog Millie to this salon for quite awhile. They were always late getting her done.

about 6 weeks ago we went to pick her up at 4 (Millie has been there all day) and she was not ready. they said to come back at 5. I informed my wife and she immediately went to pick up Millie, as we had a dinner date.

Millie walked very slowly coming out of the salon and was listless and quiet. Normally Millie is zooming around and playful. Millie immediately went to our bed and hid.

We got her back downstairs and notices she was walking funny, not real coordinated in her back legs. I watched her closely and could see she was having problems.

I noticed a swelling spot on her back, halfway down her spine. I told my wife the dog was injured and we needed to take her to the emergency room at the vet.

The vet on duty advise she had a severe spinal cord injury and we should take her to UC Davis immediately.

We took Millie to UC Davis and it was determined she had a severe spinal cord impact wound and was paralyzed by the injurey and getting worse. Immediate surgery was recommended to save Millies life. Without the surgery she would be permanently paralyzed.

I left messages for Michele (the owner of the salon) to call me and she never did. I went to the salon and told Michele Millie was severely injured. Michele said there was an altercation between Millie (who weighs 10 lbs) and two Air Dales and she separated them all.

Michele said Millie sat in the corner all day which was unusual. Michele said she would pay Millies vet bills if I sent them to her. Why would she agree to pay if she did nothing wrong? Michele promised numerous times to pay the bills and then refused later saying Millie was not hurt at her salon.

Millie was not groomed that day but we were charged for it anyway.

The salon refuses to pay the vet bills over $6000 and we are sueing Michele and the salon to collect. Michele the owner refuses to talk to us and tried to evade being served court papers.

We want people to know there are other complaints and you should investigate any injuries or odd behavior of your pets taken there. See YELP for other complaints.

I am posting this to Yelp and Facebook. If anyone has any information about injuries to animals at Chez Jeanne Dog and Cat Grooming in Santa Rosa, or any feedback that you think would be helpful to us or other customers, we would appreciate your input.

Went here and was very pleased. We'll be going back. We have a 3 month old puppy Aussiedoodle and went for his first grooming before Christmas. Looking forward to a long relationship with them. Found them from their website and the great reviews on Google. They recommended a Vet for us, as we are new to the area, and we have met many, many people that have used this groomer for years and years. We take good care of our dogs, and are happy to find a groomer that pleases us as well as our puppy.

Fantastic grooming service. The best we have found. We had tried the others in the area before we found this place. Smells good, flexible and nice people. Our dog is happy.

My vet suggested Chez Jeanne for our poodles. We have and elderly and baby poodle and they both looked nice and smelled great. Our baby got to play around and liked going back for her next baby visit. How nice that they want the dogs to like their visit too. Friendly people and nice place!

My family has taken our dogs and cats to Chez Jeanne since I was little (a long time ago!). And our friends go, and neighbors, and I even met Mr. Charles Schulz there once, with his dog Tommy (not Snoopy!), a border collie and I will never forget that! He was such a nice man.
We love it. Our dogs like to go, and we leave them there all day because they want to hang out and socialize with the others. They are not in cages. They smell so good afterwards and the haircuts are always great. Really, it is always a good experience and good for the dogs and our cats feel better after their haircuts too. It is a family owned business and I agree with Larry L. that Chez Jeanne is a "business where you can trust your pets with people who really care about them." That is why we have taken all of our dogs and cats there, it shows.

Can you believe it, my dog DRAGS ME IN! I always say, "what do you do to him to make him love you so much??" Their response is that the social dogs get to play together before their baths, and that makes the day fun. They have a yard for potty and play, and don't cage the dogs. I've gone to other groomers in town (and out of town!) and not only did my dog not smell or look as good, but he can't wait to leave. I have to DRAG him OUT of Chez Jeanne. I think the shop has been there forever. Check them out!

I do not recommend Chez Jeanne. They shaved my long haired dog and charged me for it without explaination. He did not have mats and was only scheduled to get his hair trimmed around his eyes. His skin was bleeding in spots from a very close shave, which took weeks to heal over with lots of antibiotic creame. His hair looks worse than I have ever seen it. He is shaved too close with a top not that looks like a bad hair piece. I found another groomer and I recommend that to anybody thinking of switching, DON'T GO TO CHEZ JEANNE!

Pros: They can squeeze you in on Saturdays if an emergency

Cons: The poor dog comes out looking crappy and nicked up
