Music Box Karaoke

This place keeps on changing names, but the model is the same. You come with a group of friends and you get a private room to sing your heart out. No embarassment in front of strangers! They have a great selection of songs. But be warned, no alcohol on the premises!

This place offers a great karaoke experience (where you share your own private room) for you and your friends. The song selection is great and you will not be disappointed by what they have to offer you.

The price point is what sets this place apart from other places. Music Box is relatively inexpensive compared to other Karaoke places.

This place is not located near any place spectacular. It is sort of in the middle of nowhere, but that is not to say that it is not accessible.

Music Box is frequented by a lot of university students from the nearby UC Berkeley campus. It basically has english and asian songs to groove to. Their systems are not the very top of the line, but they are above average. The place is staffed by those in their early twenties or younger, so do not expect a lot of attention or catering to your singing needs. Sometimes there is a technical glitch with the karaoke machine (especially the remote programming).
