They are awesome for renting and buying gear, and have some great teachers if you would like lessons. I bought two wonderful wetsuits at this store, and was impressed with the kindness and help of the people working there. They made sure that wetsuits were the correct fit, and made the experience fun.

the shop owners are a married couple, they were very helpful when i was trying to buy my wetsuit. the owners not only explained to me the difference between different models, like rip curl slick skin, or rip curl fire skin or rip curl elasto 2. the shop is packed with surfers and lotsa lotsa wetsuit and surfboards, so if you are in need of some wetsuit or surfboard advise, be sure to stop by Sonlight Surfshop.
