When I left the Monterey Peninsula 5 years ago I wondered if I would ever find another Vet like Dr. Cleary to care for my babies (Merlin, Tigger, Dakota and Cotton). Well, I didn't. When I made the decision to return to Monterey, one of my first calls was to Peninsula Animal Hospital so my babies could again be cared for by the best. I am happy to know as my babies move up in years they will be cared for by Dr. Cleary. Not that Cotton likes to be put in the carrier and moved anywhere you understand, but at least he will get excellent care when he gets there. Thank you Dr. Cleary and wonderful staff for still being here for Merlin, Tigger, Dakota and Cotton and Me.

I am happy to know as my babies move up in years they will be cared for by Dr. Cleary. Not that Cotton likes to be put in the carrier and moved anywhere you understand, but at least he will get excellent care when he gets there. Thank you Dr. Cleary and wonderful staff for still being here for Merlin, Tigger, Dakota and Cotton and Me.
Bill Cleary, DVM, ties into U.C. Davis. We've been fortunate enough to have his excellent care for our animals for approx. 15 years now. Excellent diagnostic skills, excellent clinical skills (and never over-treats), honest, caring and warm. He's the whole package. Our animals are safe with him and we feel grateful to have him in their and our lives. The staff has been stable over the years and all evidence the same caring and consummate skill as Dr. Cleary. His wife, Nancy, manages the office with skill, full competence and caring. We cringe over the thought of his retiring years from now (if ever) as his care, attention and follow through are beyond compare here on the Monterey Peninsula. This is a Rolls Royce Care veterinarian with a wealth of knowledge that he constantly updates and brings to his patients. Our animals (ok, our children in fur suits) love him and we love him. His diagnostic acumen is top drawer, his attention to detail never flags, his surgery and anesthesia skills are superb and his calling to his work is in full evidence at all times. God bless Bill Cleary and his staff for keeping our animals well and long-lived!
