Cinearts At Empire

Empire Cinema has 3 theaters but only one snack bar. So you will always find a line at the snack bar. It is clean but the seats needs to be changed. It's located at west portal district. Parking, specially at night is almost impossible. Take public trans. K line runs through here.

Empire is a smaller theater but still a good one. One of my favorites before the multiplex theaters invated San Francisco. They still make the best popcorn and still have the old school feeling of a real theater.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS MOVIE THEATER EVERY SINCE I WAS A LITTLE GIRL. IT ONLY HAS 3 MOVIE SCREENS BUT THE SNACK BAR IS PRETTY COOL. THE MOVIE THEY PLAY ARE PRETTY GOOD TOO.

The Empire Cinema is located on the 1st block of West Portal Ave so it has a charm of a "small city theather". The place is not big, only having 3 sreens. But everything is very clean and well maintained. And they offer many movies that are not high budget andmain stream, but rather artsie movies with real story lines. The people there ar also very friendly. Comparable to other theathers, their consession prices are high, but that is just standard. Overall a great place to visit. And there are many places on West Prtal that you can visit after you see a movie.

I really enjoy going to the Empire Cinema. Ever since they have turned it into the CineARTS, I think that it has become a better place to visit. They offer movies that re not always the same as the big budget mainstream movies. the theather is kind of small, but the movies that they offer are good. The prices are comparable to all of the other theathers. Parking can sometimes be hard, but the muni buses are right there. Overall a good theather.

A good theatre in a good location. The place is not that big but it is nice. Playing new releases and more famous movies. Good place to go if you are near by and want to catch a movie.
