My son attended tutor time for three years before beginning kindergarten. He loved it, and so did we. The teachers were fantastic, and the school was well-run. I would recommend it to anyone!

Our experience at Tutor Time has been nothing but wonderful!
The school is well maintained, the children are well taken care of with plenty of equipment and activities for them. The teachers are very nice and helpful and love the children. The management team is also wonderful and very welcoming. I would recommend Tutor Time to any parent that is looking for a child care center.

My son just graduated from Tutor Time PreK class on June 9th. He's been there since he was 3 months old. We loved everything about this school. All the classes that he was in were a great learning experience. Staff and Administration are wonderful and always willing to help with any of our needs. If a situation arises, they are willing to listen and they always do their best to resolve it. For my family, Tutor Time has been a blessing and we are so glad that our son had a great beginning before he starts elementary school. I would highly recommend that you visit them and check it out for yourself.

DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY!!!

My son went here for a year. The first 6 months were good with the same teacher and no incidents of conceern, but when he moved up to the next class room, they had trouble keeping teachers. He went through 3 teachers in 6 months and ended up having a difficult time.

My son complained of being bullied by other children and after I expressed my concern, it went downhill from there. They began to label my son as a bully and when I asked my son about the incidents hat had occurred, he stated that the teachers didn't see what had happened and when I asked what the teachers were doing, he said they were talking with each other. I popped in early a few times and saw this for myself.

The Assistant Director called to notify me today that they had closed early for the second day in a row (I didn't get the memo because they stuck it in my son's back pack which stays in his cubby there) and she said that my son was out on the playground "UNATTENDED" for about an hour. That's right, she waited a whole hour before she even called me! I was completely disgusted and outraged to say the very least. We had paid our tuition for a full week (They were open only 3 full days for the week) and they had the audacity to tell me that my son was unattended and that they did not have the staff to watch him. They were of course still open for the family picknick for parents who could be there at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday regular work day and assume care.

When I tried to speak with the Director she agreed that "unattended wasn't the best choice of words" and the Assistant Director who said it to me slithered from around the corner to defend herself by lying to my face and denying in front of the owner and Director that she had ever said that to me.

Since I'm sure nobody was around when she made that call to me, I'm sure they would take her word over mine. The fact of the matter is that she said it and I'm appalled that it even came out of her mouth since they are supposed to be people we trust to care for our children and she is a mother herself. She is a LIAR and since she lied to my face about that I wonder what other lies she has told us, or just how far she would go if there was an incident there that caused serious harm or danger. I believe she would lie about anything to cover something up or to save her own skin.

I'm writing this to let people know, it may look peachy keen at this facility when they are trying to sell you, but it's how they actually treat you and your children after you have a concern that will tell you the truth. I waited too long to pull my child out of here and I did it for the sake of trying to keep stability for my son while we tried to "wait it out" because the school year was ending soon.

These people are very concerned with your social status and your money. I noticed that after I told them that we had other plans for summer care, they treated us a little differently and even called a few times to tell me I needed to pick up my son because he was having a tantrum and they didn't want him there. I don't think they are well prepared to deal with regular child behavior. They sent him home because he said the word stupid and blew a raspberry at the teacher, and yet I've seen them allow another child who kicked a child in the mouth on purpose stay at this school and terrorize his classmates repetetively on a daily basis.

Please beware! There are better child care facilities out there.
I hope you find a place for your child where you can rest assured that they genuinely care about your family.

Pros: Local

Cons: Money oriented management doesnt care about children

.

Yes, I am writing about the TutorTime on Newhall Ranch Rd (Next to BestBuy) in Valencia, CA. This is the only plus point of this facility.

The staff is very much money-minded. They mint money for every small thing in the world. They are not flexible at all. The director and assistant director always follow bad-cop and good-cop philosophy. They talk less-good about their facility and more-bad about other facilities. The director is "THE BOSS" and conducts the center as a British-Shcool, where everyone has to follow the boss's decisions including teachers, which I did not like personally. She overrides the decisions made by her supporting staff and as a parent it is annoying because when you and teacher make a decision that will be changed by "THE BOSS" with out any reason or explanation.

The place is not well maintained and it is dirty. I have seen kids with running-noses but none of the staff care enough to clean the kid.

I can go on with many reasons. But the bottom line is the philosophy of the center is more like a pro-business and not service oriented. They care more of the money than the care of the child. I have decided to pull my child and am sending to another one.
