The best Tacos Al Pastor in all of the North Bay! This place is always busy, and filled with a variety of people. The food is always great.

Great! Awesome. Chow Wow! Here is really good, fairly cheap mexican food--yet no sacrifice in the quality nor in the portions. Great chips and salsa bar at no extra cost. This is just your walk-in and chow down style taqueria, so no fancy dates or anything like that, but the food is great and its the best deal in town. Its so popular you may not want to go at lunch time--I always go on the off-peak hours and that works.

Pros: Really Great food, very reasonable, healthy portions,

Cons: Its just a walk in and chow down place--nothing fancy.

This is the best mexican place in Marin Country. I used to come here all the time with my buddies. All the ingredients are great, the food is awesome. Serving sizes are huge, and the prices are SUPER cheap. Plus, you get unlimited chips and salsa.

The only cons are parking and location, as the place is pretty much located directly underneath a freeway overpass.

Very authentic, tasty, huge portions and very low prices. Standard burrito is $4 and is big enough for two meals. Tortas are great. Salsa bar, free chips. Try an octopus & shrimp burrito for something different.

Locals will know that the biggest and the best burritos in the Bay are here! Yummy, fast, and heap loads of good food. Bring your appetite cause the wet burritos and the quesadillias are to die for. As expected from any respectable taqueria, self-serve fresh chips and salsa a must. A very mixed crowd of diners, the very hard working with family and well seasoned foodies.

Wowsa, try and spend more than $7 bucks on a meal including a drink(beer too). You will still go home with a doggy bag, Fido will be very grateful.

No ornate light fixtures in this place so if your here for the interior design, this is not your gig. Homestyle place with good food with curt service. Sorta reminds me of Seinfeld's "soup nazzi"(sp.) episode. Some self assembly required, they will not hold your hand at the counter.

Parking is a breeze, under the causeway in the commuter lot.

You tried to keep it a secret, but now the cat is out. Shhhh, not too loud, lets keep it to ourselves a bit longer.

Editorial from

This unassuming family-owned taqueria, just off---as well as under---the freeway in San Rafael, is low on ambience, but the inexpensive Mexican fare more than makes up for it. All day long it draws diners who line up for tacos and enormous…
