I ordered the fish tacos and hubby ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The fish wasn't seasoned at all and the rice had no flavor. The chicken looked as if it had been barely brushed with sauce and hubby said it was just OK; It wasn't "buffalo-y enough" is how he described it. Thank god for the beer and the entertainment book coupon. We won't be back. This was very disappointing since we do like the food at their regular restaurant on Marconi.

Pros: Well lit dining area

Cons: food

We've been here several times - taking my family to brunch once, and a few other times for dinner & beer. Every time has been excellent. The wait staff is prompt and friendly, the food was prepared with fresh ingredients, and they were quite willing to work with special requests.

We had the Meat Lovers Pizza, which was delicious - not the normal crust (a little doughy-er than I'm used to, but still yummy), tasty sauce, good amount of cheese & toppings. We also tried the grilled artichoke, which is served with a house made dill aioli - also very good. There were too many beer options to choose from. No happy hour specials, but their beer & appetizers were reasonably priced in general.

The Sunday Brunch is fabulous! They keep the food fully stocked and it all tastes very fresh. There is a wide variety of items to choose from - salad, fruit, meat, omlets, eggs benedict - and best of all, $1 glasses of champagne! The brunch was priced reasonably, and they're also in the 2008 Entertainment book - extra savings on brunch!

They have great burgers & salads - I tried the pork tostada salad, which was fabulous. I also tried some of my husbands burger, which was very juicy and well prepared. The fries were delicious - garlic fries were even better, though!

Great place - their location is a little hidden (at the back of a run down strip mall), but we've enjoyed it every time we've gone. They've always exceeded our expectations for quality & price.

I love it there. I joined the Pub Club. You get a 22oz beer a day for a year. The IPA is the best and there special beers are good as well.
the Max Burger is great, very tasty. Friendly place, mixed crowd.

We just tried this spot for lunch and are definitely going back. The place is much bigger than it looks- it has a big dining room and wraparound patio, besides the pub in front. The low street visibility works to your advantage- you can tell these guys are really trying to build a reputation for themselves, one person at a time. The brunch roasts did look a bit tired when we got there, but we got there at probably 1:30 or later, so whose buffet roast does look appealing after who knows how long in that nasty orange glow?
The calamari appetiser was delicious, with tiny onion slices and calamari rings in a very obviously house made batter- nice and light. My culinary student lover and I both aggreed there was a distinct possibility that the delicious (though plain) mayo was house made. The deluxe burger was a celebration in gluttony, and the garlic fries were delicious, though I don't think they come standard. The beer was fantastic, especially the nut brown special we had and the Sac-squatch. Pints seemed to run about $4.50, but you can upgrade to a 22 oz for a buck. The cocktails menu looked great, but the location pretty much mandates a car, like every other bar out here in the burbs- if you can get home safely after, I'd try em out. Free darts on the patio, too. Our server, Robert, was attentive, eager to make us happy, and gave good suggestions. We both agreed he'd been well trained in the art of the upsell, but hey, that's just another sign that the place is well run and managed. We found coupons with a little looking through the mail at home.
Oh, and after you try this place, try it's two neighbors- Izumi and Mama's Korean BBQ- to complete your understanding in how good things happen to those who eat at unassuming-looking neighborhood spots. You're welcome.

We didn't have too great of an experience here. The steak I ordered medium-well was completely undercooked and had to be sent back and they overcooked the fish we ordered. We didn't really care for the food much here at all. I'm sure it didn't help that we don't drink alcohol and the place is known for its brewery. The atmosphere is kind of a fun Egyptian-type theme though.

We went for the food and found it so good we were making plans for a return visit before we left!
Portions are large, presentation attractive and taste just wonderful. We want to try the brunch too.
The brewery is icing on the cake: nice selection of great brews served in a size to suit you.
