The setting is really pretty. My kids enjoyed all of the activities. They even got to build a log cabin! It is quite educational for all ages. The people are really nice and friendly, too. I would recommend visiting at least once.

We vistited Riley's Farm in Fall of 07 and had a fantastic time. The kids really enjoyed the tour with a wonderful guide. Writing with quill pens, playing old fashioned games, making cider, weaving and most of all (believe it or not) they enjoyed the "etiquette lessons". We all picked apples after and everyone loved the day. We will definitely go back next Fall if not sooner.

I saw the review by anonymous above and I couldn't disagree more. The redcoats were incredible and the country 18th century clothing looked incredibly authentic. It is a countryside experience, complete with apple orchards and hills, so I guess it doesn't have all the comforts of a theme park, but for people who are willing to stretch a bit (and not too out of shape), it's a great place. My kids loved it.

I visited this farm on a field trip with my child and it was kind of unique. The people were friendly but the place was kind of a mess. The costumes looked very worn and not that authentic. It was a lot of walking up and down hills.
