Maison Fleurie

I stayed here for the first time last night and I loved it. First, this one of the few places in Napa Valley that allows a 1-night stay on the weekend as you'll find that most require two. Second, it's not located in Napa but north of Napa so you're a way from the tourists. Third, it is reasonably priced. They have 1 room that goes for $130/night, few that go for $155/night, and it gets more expensive from here. We had a $155/night room and it was small but cozy. We did not have a TV in the room. The less expensive rooms go quickly so you must book a few months in advance.

It's the small and numerous touches that make this place amazing. They have hors d'oeuvres, cookies, and wine from 4:30-6:30 every evening. Each room comes with 2 comfy robes which we then used to get to the pool and hot tub. We found them to be clean and extremely relaxing. They also have many Trek mountain bikes which you can check-out for free and ride around Yountville in. The staff is nice -- after our dip in the pool we walked in and were asked by the hostess if we wanted milk and cookies (this being after the hors d'oeuvres hour).

Friendly service and wonderful touches made our stay just amazing.
