In ShortDebuting in 1962 as Thrif D Discount Center in Scranton, Pa., this drugstore chain became known as Rite Aid in 1968, and today is one of the largest in the nation. The manager was very nice, I had a problem with my rebate and he helped me to get it fixed. The cashiers are not very sharp, but the manager seems to know everything. Have problem go to the manger. If thing are on sales, avoid this store because things sold out fast. Outside of the store, watch out homeless people asks for money. Store is messy, difficult to find store, prepare for long line.

Best Ice Cream in California

I've been going to Thrifty now known as Rite Aid for 23 years just for their delicious ice cream. Rocky Road is my favorite and no other brand comes close to Thrifty ice cream. It's cheap, simple and delicious.
Pros: cheap, no long lines, many varieties
