Dr.Jenson is the best! i would never take my animals anywhere else. I have been to other vets in town and they do not compare to ODAH! Dr. Jenson is very personal and will take all of the time he needs to explain whats going on with your animal. He has very reasonable prices and will not try to rip you off. The staff there is friendly. I hate it when people gripe and moan about paying for vet care! My husband owns his own plumbing business people try to rip him off all of the time. People need to understand that running any business is expensive! And because of that i know Dr. Jensons prices are very fair due to all of the bills he has to pay! I know he could charge more. I love Dr. Jenson, his staff and his prices.

Ive taken both guinea pigs and cats to ODAH and could not be more pleased with our experiences. Compassion, kindness and a willingness to educate owners is why I will continue to bring our animals here. Even with bad news, the Doc was very straightforward while also sympathetic. He takes as much time as is needed and we've never felt that we were being rushed along to get the next paying customer in the door. When one of our guinea pigs was sick, he gave us extra antibiotics so we could treat her cage mate without paying for another office visit. Love this vet and his staff!!

Horrible place! Never take your pet here for severe injuries or sicknesses, or for any reason. They do not give their full attention to our pets. Our pets go hours without anyone being in the facility. Our pets become an inconvenience to them especially around the holidays because they do not want to have to go in. Also, the Vet and his staff never tell the same story because they're trying to cover up for each other. This I know from the Vet tech. telling me something, then the Vet telling me something else, then the receptionist putting me on hold while she asks them about my concerns and the telling me a different story. In the end... My poor dog passed away :( I don't think she ever had a chance there. I really never saw the Vet, but I sure did hear from him when he wanted payment! Please, if you want your pets to make it, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS PLACE!!!

When Sherry Hughes retired her Veterinary Practice, Dr. Jensen aquired it. Sherry had been my cats lifetime Vet. But, when I took my cat in for one last visit, I was told Sherry wasn't in but, the new Dr. Jensen would see my cat. I remember hesitating, thinking I shouldn't have my cat be seen by someone I'd not yet checked out. But, I turned to my mother and said, I guess we could meet the new vet. And, One Last Visit, it truly was. What Dr. Jensen did and didn't do severly stressed and, litterally, turned my cats world upside-down. Ultimately, shortening his life.
Never having seen my cat, he didn't even bother looking at his chart or asking of any problems. But, after examining my healthy, 12 year old cat, Mr. Jensen felt the slightly red ear warranted a liquid flush and ordered his assistant to perform such proceedure. Without bothering to explain what it was, get my approval or supervise the student/assistant during the proccedure he turned and went out of the room to get a syringe full of antibiotics he planned on giving my cat. While trying to get the assistant to stop (I could clearly see the stress in my cat), she turned her focus away from him and yelled out at me that I needed to stop. By then it was to late, my cat had deficated all over the place, his eyes fully dialated and he'd gone into Acute Vestibular Disorder. We lived on the floor of my bedroom closet for a month, until he could eat and drink without being forced to. He lived with the inability to judge distance or maintain balance for the remainder of his life.
The next day I went to get my cats records, which were laying on the floor behind the reception desk. Rudly, I was told it would be a long wait, because I didn't call for an appointment. I procceeded telling every person that walked in the office what kind of vet Mr. Jensen was...I didn't have to wait long.
I filed an official complaint with the Board of Veterinary Medicine, only to learn that Veterinarians are well protected and can get away with doing whatever it is that they do...Unsupervised, unauthorized and unessessary proceedures is just the beginning of what some vets, like this one, will get away with doing.
Be advised and be aware, know your pets vet and be sure you know everything about what it is he'll be doing.

We recently had an emergency situation with one of our cats. He got mixed up in a plastic bag, panicked and ended up tearing off one of his front claws with plenty of blood spread around. We called ODAH, got an immediate, clear response from Dr. Jenson and quickly got a remedy for our problem. The service was professional, the time required was minimal and the cost was completely reasonable. This is a quality operation!! Thanks for your concern and help!! We will be back for more pet care in the future!

All I have to say is that we went to another Vet and they wanted more than $1100 to fix our cats urinating problem ... so we were going to put him down because we just couldnt do it. But our friend sent us here and he helped save our cat by offering to do the surgery for $500. We are so thankful for that and cant say enough good things about Olive Dr Animal Hospital. I agree the office visit cost is a little high but so is every other vet I have been to. And if other vets charge less well they find other ways to get it from you!

The only thing I have to say is it was overly expensive! I think $45 for an office call is a little excessive, an emergency vet isnt much more. Due to this I will not be returning.

When I went in there the doctor didn't look me in the eyes once or try to make any kind of small talk.. I tried asking him questions but he said "The nurse will answer that" and walked off! What he didn't know is that I already asked the nurse.. she said "Ask the doctor when he gets in." I just felt like crying right at the spot because I didn't know what was going on with my dog! Then the girl at the front desk was very rude, she was nice at first till she was on the phone with her boyfriend. She got mad that I was asking questions and she treated me badly because my insurance wasn't accepted there. I'm never going back there and I would recommend others to find another place.

A few years ago my grandmother's dog had cancer. We took her to the Oliver Drive Animal hospital because it was literally two minutes away from where she lived. It was a VERY stressful experience because we knew that we would probaby have to put Dana (dog) to sleep soon and wanted to do all we could to make her comfortable if it could be avoided. This hospital tried to milk it for all it was worth. They were V ERY expensive and rude when we didn't agree with what they wanted to charge to us. We ended up taking Dana to a different vet and got much better care. Save your money and go somwhere else.

PROS:
CONS: Expenisve, not very friendly.
