This place is so inconspicuous you could live around the corner from it and never notice it. When you do go in, you are greeted by such friendly faces and nice service and a suprisingly cute atmosphere. We used to go to another restaurant on Oak Park but Thai Village has better food, slightly better prices and is closer to where we live. The food is great. We love the chicken with the peanut sauce, the green curry and the pad thai is usally good too. We try to branch out and everything we've tried has been pretty good but usually end up getting our favorites and they are consistenly yummy. If you are in the area, then this is the place to get thai food. To find it, pull into the parking lot for Coffee and Beyond (next to 7-11)- it's behind the nail place in the back corner.

Pros: great thai food, friendly service, good prices, easy parking

Tucked away in the back of a strip mall, it is impossible to see from the street, but the food is good, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Run by a nice family this isn?t my number one Thai place in the Bay Area ? that honour would have to go to Gatip in San Francisco, but it is the best I have found so far in the central Contra Costa County area in which I live ? and the ubiquitous peanut sauce is quite good!

Pros: Not easy to see from the street.

Cons: Lots of parking, friendly, good food.
