I love Mexican food...When I come here I always order chicken quesadilla, beef tacos, and chips. Yes I eat a lot and the portion is a good size......

Get the shrimp burrito! It's loaded with fresh cooked shrimp. It does get busy and there's not too many tables so get there early if you're going for lunch. Better yet, phone it in to go and take it with you.

My husband and I miss all the great taquerias in San Francisco. This one in Milpitas came highly recommended from some friends so we gave it a try. The place looks just like a real taqueria should, not too fancy, fairly clean. The food is great! The Al pastor burrito was full of heavily seasoned pork and not too much filler, but my husband always orders burrito's with no rice. I had the veggie and honestly did not miss the meat. Very flavorful rice and beans, great salsa. Friendly enough staff.

Free Chips and Salsa and the service is friendly. Great place to grab a quick lunch, however you might want to order by phone to avoid the lunch crowd.

I just moved from San Diego and I finally found a place with Carne Asada fries! If you want pretty decent Mexican food for a pretty good value, try Taqueria Las Vegas!

I recently moved to the area and one of the things I look for is a Great, not Good, Mexican Restaurant. I found such at Taqueria Las Vegas. They are able to fill the shoes of my new favorite Mexican Restaurant. The food is taste delicious, it's cooked just as it should be, never over cooked or under cooked. The staff are friendly and polite and always make me feel welcomed (this is a biggie in my book, I will always return to a place where the employees are polite and friendly and appear to like their job). The Burritos here are huge and you can make 2 meals out of them. The meal plates are delicious and plentiful as well. Give this restaurant a try, you'll make them your personal Mexican restaurant of choice once you do, I guarantee that.

Cons: small dining area

A trip to Las Vegas Taqueria is happy solution for your hunger.
Visiting their burger-style building, I am impresed by the colorful menu posted above the counter, so patrons can order food to eat in their small dining and patio area, or take-out. Besides an abundant array of authentic Mexican foods freshly prepared on the spot, the staff mixes up several very tasty natural beverages such as horchata, tamarinda, and a cocktail of citrus, apple and carrots blended upon order.
The food is generous in portion. The burritos are plump and amply stuffed. The enchiladas are delicate and flavorful. The other favorites such as tamales, tortas, chile rellenos and tacos are a suberb choice. On weekends, select specials such as menudo, pasole are worth looking forward to. Las Vegas' prices are very reasonable, and the self-serve chips and home-made salsa bar make waiting for your food worth the time.
