We always go for dinner and it never disappoints. The food is excellent and the service was great. There is a variety of food and sushi rolls. The interior is nice and the food is very reasonable.

This place is wonderful. It looks very whole in the wall and tacky, but the food is excellent and very cheap. They have every roll you can imagine at great prices. This is my favorite sushi restaurant to eat at for the amount of food you get for the price. The bento box is worth the $9

the best kept secret in san diego!
by kitty k.
I am a sushi freak...
I stumbled into this place about two years ago and have been back every week since. Hands down the best tasting, the friendliest, and the prices, unbelievable. I have some very she she la la sushi snob buddies and I raved so much about this place they finally tried it. Yeah, they are now regulars too. The place is run by Japanese chefs, don't forget to buy them a round of sake, who are so fun! Five of us filled to the gill, with drinks, spent less than a hundred bucks! Please don't let Lemon Grove or the location fool you, this place is a gem. Ask for chef "Chucky" and sit at the bar for fast, top quality service.

A Pleasant Surprise
by Noel D.
Don't let the unsuspecting location or plain interior fool you, once you sit down at Sushi Time in Lemon Grove, the amazing food and outstanding service will win you over. Unlike the neon flashiness of other "Trendy" restaurants, Sushi time seems to be more concerned with the high quality and freshness of their fish and the friendly, knowledgeable demeanor of their Staff. If you like finding quaint, "off the beaten path" places that concern themselves more with the quality of their fare than with the ostentatiousness of their decor, then you will be pleasantly surprised with Sushi Time.
