The place is small and full of people but the food is good. You get huge portions so make sure you are hungry. The pancakes are great and the size of a dinner plate.

This restaurant is a lot like a Waffle House, for anyone familiar with Southern chain restaurants. The food is pretty yummy, although a little bit greasy. I'd say there is a pretty good variety.

The prices, however, are great for what they offer.

I've only been there once, but I'd go again.

It's a little 'truck stop" kind of place on College Ave that you could drive by a million times and never notice it's even there. But, once you know about it,-chances are you'll be back again and again. The food is good, the portions are beyond generous, The service is fast and friendly. It only takes a few minutes to figure out that there are many regular customers and the reasons for it. The folks that work there are always friendly and welcoming. I watch in amazement as people a good portion are greeted by name, Carlos asks about their relatives(by name) ,how things are going with their work, or new home, or wishes them a happy birthday... he has a genuine interest in them and an incredible memory. The waitresses are great- they handle a bustling business in a tight work space. ,You can tell they get along with each other well and they truly like people .They don't hesitate to do whatever they can to get your order made the way you want. It's a very comfortable and friendly place and the food ain't so bad either.

I have been coming here for 3 years now and before that when it was Azar's. There was little change between the two, and I always have gotten the enchilada omlet. Azar made a better omlet in that he drained the meat. The only thing wrong with the omlet is the grease from the seasoned beef. If Carlos would just fix this one problem I would have to say the omlet would rank 5 stars. The potatos are very generous and the sauce and cheese poored over the omlet is just scrumptuous. The waitress' are efficient with experience. The setting is from the 80s and is in line with expectations.

Pros: value, omlet, service

Cons: greasy meat
