I have been a customer of Hai for the last 4 years and I have yet to receive a haircut I was unhappy about. This is coming from someone who has had different hair lengths and styles over the years. Hai always came through with a clean haircut. I have referred multiple people to his services whom have in turn referred their friends because Hai gets it done; and he is inexpensive too! He is too meticulous to leave a single head of hair misplaced, which assurs you it will be money well spent.

The guy who has owned this place for the last few years is the best haircutter I've ever had. He is very meticulous, and takes great care to give a great haircut. His name is Hai, and he used to cut hair for the haircut store in PB. Now he ownes his own place. I live in carlsbad and still drive down to get my hair cut by him. 7 years of haircuts, and not a bad one ever. The atmosphere isn't like those fancy salons, but the quilty of the cut is second to none. As for the other reviewer...I've never had a wax job so I can't comment on that, but everyone I've recommended to go to Hai has been very happy, and become repeat customers.

cut n curlee used to be my favorite hair stylist/eyebrow waxer. however, the woman that used to own the store sold it to someone else. now there is a man and a woman there. the man is very good. definitely knows what he is doing. unfortunately, when someone else walks in, he passes you off to the woman. the woman is completely incompetent. it took her an hour to do my eyebrow wax and then she had to call in the man to come fix it. even then the damage was done. ugh! i was the previous owner would come back. the hair cut he did was so-so but not really great like the old owner's too.
