I have been eating at Sam's from the first days it opened. My family has become completely loyal to eating exclusively at Sushi Okawa when we are craving Sushi. My favorite is the Eastern Roll. Sam has done very special creative rolls for my son as a child. My now 12 year old son rides his bike there on his own to eat sushi... I've been planning on having a shirt made for him that reads: Will work for Sushi. I highly reccomend this restaurant.

I have eaten here Many times! Sam, the owner and main man there, is so friendly! His wife works there and if you are lucky you might see his sons around helping out! The fish is Always fresh and if you ask Sam, he will tell you what is extreamly fresh and prepare it for you! The atmosphere is great...fun people. Try to sit at the bar...drink Sake and eat a lot. I come out of there full and satisfied! Great Sushi...and always a fun time!

I've eaten at Sushi Okawa a few times, and I've really enjoyed their chicken karaage which is not available at all Japanese restaurants. Their vegetable tempura is also delicious.
