This company used to go by the name of Fremont Compensation Insurance which traded on the Newe York Stock Exchange under the name of Fremont General Corporation.

Fremont General Corporation owns Fremont Bank, which owns CountryWide Home Loan/CountryWide Mortgage. CountryWide Home Loan is the one that contributed to the financial meltdown that cause the economic recession that we are in right now.

Even American Insurance Group(AIG) blame CountryWide Home Loan for their financial problems, since they Insured all the mortgage on the book of CountryWide Home Loan. But American Insurance Group(AIG) has no one to blame for doing business with CountryWide Home Loan. Just as Bank of America(BofA) has no one to blame for business with CountryWide Home Loan, which I will further elaborate below.

BofA purchase CountryWide Home Loan for $2.5 billion. Since the purchase of CountryWide Home Loan, BofA has lost $30 billions from CountryWide Home Loan operation plus $2 billion in court award judgement against CountryWide Home Loan for their crooked activities, with $2 billion more in estimated legal suite against CountryWide Home Loan.

BofA and AIG could have avoided all of these problem had they have competent people working background check and gathering accurate information.

All of the above problems started with Fremont General Corporation now change their name to Employers Compensation Insurance, Employers Direct Insurance, Employers Reinsurance, Employers Group and other variations of "Employers".

Even when they were Fremont Compensation Insurance/Fremont General Corporation, they were being sue by Reliance Insurance and other Corporations. Maybe that's why they change their name to Employers Compensation Ins/Employers Group and creates subsidiaries such as Fremont Bank & CountryWide Mortgage to perform all the Shenanigan you hear about CountryWide Home Loan, making them untouchable when all hell break lose with their subsidiaries.

In addition they reincorporated in Reno, NV & have their Corporate Headquarter in Reno, Nevada where the privacy laws for corporations are very strict and they pay no state income tax.

Thus they are benefitting from doing business in your state without paying state incomes tax, therefore are not contributing to your communities while benefitting from it.

So now you know about the background of Employers Compensation Insurance. Do you want to be another Bank of America or American Insurance Group?

Update: 1/09/2012

It seems the Employers Direct division has change it's name to PacificComp.

Don't it makes you wonder about a company that changes it's name so often, even if you don't know what I know?

.

I have had dealing with these people and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They are very deceptive, manipulative and fraudulently crooked. And because they are such a master at fraud, they probably ripping you off right now and you think what a great deal you got. I have lost trust in mankind after my dealing with them.

And they have many faces so you can not track them down to know who the crooks are.

If you are savvy, you would also know they goes by the name of Fremont Comp, Fremont Investment and Loan, CountryWide Home Loan, Employer Direct Insurance and Employer Insurance.

So if you have bad experience with Fremont Employers Insurance Company, you might accidently end up dealing with Employer Direct Insurance if you don't know their tricks. And for all I know, they probably have other business names that I don't even know about.

The only thing I can say is that they are bad and watchout for one of their many affiliates.

PROS: Nothing good
CONS: Bad people
