M & M Nursery

I was looking for something very specific. Although the could not help me themselves, they sent me to the best place for what I was looking for on the peninsula. The owners are the staff. They are knowledgeable about horticulture, and interested in finding the best solution for you. There thoughtful help when they redirected me to a potential competitor to find what I needed has made me a customer for life. This is the place I go when I want to find out what is best for me and my needs.

I have gone to this nursery when we were landscaping a big projects and bought out some others in the area. The staff was helpful, got me what i needed and on my way in a short time.

I have found that M&M nursery is a good place to check out if you know what you want. While the staff is helpful in pointing you in the right direction if you know what you want, if you come in quite clueless regarding what to buy, odds are that you will walk out equally so. The prices seemed OK to me, but I didn't shop around much. The location is convenient and there is parking right there by the entrance.

CONS: Not many suggestions on what plants to get

They have many plants but they don't always look like the best plants and their prices are on the high side. I think it's because they are close to Wegman's nursery and they get the overflow from them and figure they can charge the same high prices for lower qualitiy plants. On the other hand you can sometimes find a bargain and the staff is helpful. It's better than Home Depot or Orchard Supply but it's no Roger Reynolds or Wegman's
