SHOPPING THERE FOR BEADS

by EDIE W.

I have gone there only a couple of times and I feel that their prices are lower then the other bead store that I shop at . I have shopped
by catolog for many years til I found out about this their prices on
some of the beads that I gotten from there have been lower then from the one up in OREGON because they are family busyness up
there . So I like yours very much more then their . I do plan to look
on the internet of yours to see what you have and compare the two
places to each other .

A Wonderful & Complete Experience Here!

by suan n.

San Gabriel Bead Company is a wonderful destination - from satisfying a whim for a tiny trinket, to finding all possible elements for your beautiful project. EVERY visit is unique and satisfying as there is sooo much to explore, experience AND purchase here. The bead/crystal selection is extensive and wondrous, the classes offered are for every level of crafter, and I have always found the staff informative, patient and helpful in every way. (Once a friend from Riverside and I met at the Bead Company to join up for a Craftsman Tour in Pasadena, and wound up shopping at the Bead Company for 5 hours til closing time - completely missing the tour and not ONE regret!) I drive to Arcadia from Orange County and have done so since their relocation - the trip is always worthwhile. I promise you'll LOVE THIS PLACE!

no place like it for beads galore

by Skye S. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,078

I spent hours in this expansive, lovely, complete bead store. It has not only a TON of beads, but tools, classes, books, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful, prices average(some beads by nature were very expensive)-but the quality and selection of beads set them apart.

It's a bit like a museum-a must experience place if you have any interest in beads or crafts! Finding it and parking there are simple.

everything a crafty lady could wish for!

by amanda s. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,204

Beads, beads, beads. Beads that cost a dollar a bag to beads that cost 65$ apiece! They have gourds, paint for gourds, supplies for jewelry making, supplies for mosiac table top making-- and what's even better-- they have a million classes, at affordable prices-- to learn to make gorgeous necklaces, stained glass pieces, lampwork beads, fused glass art and funky cool tribal decorative gourds. It's a little more out in the boonies than it used to be when it was right downtown Pasadena, but when you see the new space-- and how vast and sunny it is, you will understand that the drive was worth it. Taking classes here is a fun way to spend your time, and it leaves you with skills you can use for your life to make people (and yourself) charming art wrought by hand!

by Tara C. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,269

Beads galore! Huge assortment of every kind of bead imaginable including findings, glass, semi-precious stones, crystal, sterling, etc. They also have a great selection of classes available (soldering, wire work, bead basics). You can spend quite a bit of time in thei huge store (and quite a bit of money).
