Upon entering this establishment, you are asked if you already have an appointment which normally I do not do (and generally have to wait 10-20 mins). Today, I actually made an appointment and arrived 5 mins early. I checked in, and then waited for 15 mins with out as much as a word. I then spoke with the store Manager, some blonde woman who was very defensive and most unpleasant. She explained that the appointments were not really appointments...

All I could think of was the multiple times I had been asked to wait for so many people who had appointments.

What's the point of an appointment if the time is not honored.

What a rude Manager, funny thing is though; since the hair cuts are so cheap I usually tip almost 100%.

What ever though, I am sure in a year or so Costco will overtake their business anyway. Well, maybe this is part of the reason why!

Pros: Same day scheduling

Terry C gives a great haircut and really great color. She's personable, funny and skilled. With a busy schedule I appreciated the same day scheduling.

I should have known from the beginning. There was no receptionist to take my name, just three hair stylists that were busy laughing and talking to each other. I waited several minutes before finally asking for some help. So I guess because I interrupted the conversation and gaiety, I'm now persona non-grata. I waited 45 minutes until everyone before me was called and I'm the only person left in the waiting area and then two of the stylists decided to take their break together. I sat another 20 minutes while the remaining stylist casually chatted away. I should have just left - but I figured since I had already invested over an hour and I didn't want to waste the entire afternoon, I would stick it out. After the last person finished paying and the last stylist finished sweeping up, she said she'd be right back and left for the backroom for about 5 minutes. I'm starting to fume at this point and a spit second from walking away when she finally returned and called my name. I thought about leaving. I thought about giving her a piece of my mind - but since I was so close to getting the haircut and I didn't want a bad haircut, I bit my tongue and tried to act pleasant. I asked if she had been having a long day and my question was answered with a frosty "No - everything has been just fine". The other two stylists then re-emerged from the back room laughing, giggling and swearing to boot. My stylist joined in with the cajoling taking breaks of a minute or more to chat it up with them. She then announced that she had finished my cut and that I need to get out of the chair. So I asked if I could see a mirror because I suspected that she had not cleaned up the hair on the back of my neck. She agonized over having to reach over to her station to retrieve the mirror and when I saw that my suspicions were correct and asked her to please trim it up, she agonized further saying that she needed to go on her break and that I was holding her up. At that point I told her to forget it. I went to the cash register paid and left with no intention of tipping. All I can say is that this was one of the worst haircuts I have every had, administered by completely rude and completely unprofessional staff. I will never go back there and I suggest that everyone avoid this place like it were the bubonic plague.

Fell into the store when I couldn't get an appointment w/ my regular stylist and I was desperate for a cut. Tried Terry and she did such a good job w/ the cut that I decided to try her for color (hi/low lights.) She is fantastic, great colorist and the cut is always top notch. The icing on the cake the $ - much less than my former stylist.

I found the team in the shop to be well organized and ready to satisfy. Older team of workers that offer lots of timely experience in cutting and styling. I don't care for the waiting list idea, it makes walk-ins feel inferior for not knowing the Supercuts "system", but once in the chair, the team is polite and helpful. Very few younger workers, most of the shop is made up of 40 plus stylists. Shop is always clean.

PROS: Good team. Organized. Good humor. Skilled.
CONS: Wait is often long for walk-ins. They can be more personable.

Great place to take the kids for a haircut. It is cheap and you don't need an appointment. I would not trust them to cut my hair. Mainly very young operators.
