Calabasas Inn

I have to refute these bad ratings that other people gave. I got married August 10, 2004 on a Tuesday evening. The service from the staff was impeccable. My husband and I were pleased beyond measure. We of course received a price break for having our wedding during the week. We picked a very delicious menu and decided to have it buffet style to ensure our guest would get enough. The Mahi Mahi fish was really good , etc. Our guest raved about the food, even the photographer and videographer were please with the food, and they have gone to many weddings, but they said Calabasas Inn has the best food. The place was so peaceful and beautiful. I love waterfalls and I was extremely happy. Thank you for making our day special.

Calabasas Inn sits in Santa Monica mountains and San Fernando Valley and their setting is just gorgeous. It's very pieceful and you feel like you are having a short get away from the busy LA life. I did not like the service, however, due to their poor management skill and failure to commit to customer satisfaction like they say they do. Catering was not all that great, either. They say "fine dining experience" but it was tasteles, boring course with no creativity. I would go for someone else's wedding but I don't want to get married there.

I like the Calabasas in for it's beautiful setting. The only problem is that is seems like everyone gets married there. I have been to about 8 weddings there and it is getting kind of boring. I kind of feel like I am in a cattle call when I am there, they tend to stuff as many weddings into one day as possible and it doesn't seem like anyone gets great service.

Calabasas Inn has such great charm however they are not the best when it comes to banquet halls. The size of it is not very big and does not hold alot of options for your party or event. The location also is not the cleanest. Overall I dont think I would recommend.
