It's ok-- the kind of place where I would have a meeting but I've never walked away saying "wow I must go back to that place" for any dish.

They have great popcorn shrimp! It's my favorite. They've got a pretty fresh selection of seafood here, with great fishing/fancy decor on the inside. The waiters are all usually very nice and/or helpful too. It's definitely not cheap, but it's not too overly expensive either. For being a seafood place, I think it's reasonable. The clam chowder is great too. They've also got a cute kid's menu with corny jokes on the coasters.

This Place has an easy going environment. Good Service, Friendly Staff. Been Here a few times and hasn't been too crowed even for lunch hour. Great Quality and not a bad price for seafood compared to other places. There is a variety of Seafood to pick from, the menu is printed daily.. lol food stains on them. Plank Salmon is good. Love the Sushi Salmon and the Rolls. Lobster is the yummiest and best I've had locally. Veggies are good too! Fries kinda plain. Will surely return and again!

Pros: FAST SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD QUALITY - NOT CROWDED

Cons: CASUAL PLACE BUT THE PRICE OF A NICE PLACE

This seafood restaurant, located at the corner of El Toro and Carlota, near the 5 Freeway, is a great place for anyone who likes fish. The service is pretty good, permitting you get there early enough to get a seat. Their menu has a host of different seafood dishes, ranging from fried calamari, crab cakes, salmon, shrimp, and a range of different combinations. The great thing is their menu changes every day so there's always something new or different on it, meaning you are almost guaranteed to try something you haven't had before each time you visit. Also instead of "happy hour" they have "easy hour" usually from 4:30-6:30 pm Monday to Friday. Their selection of beer is pretty big for a restaurant and the also have wine, cocktails, and martinis. One of the desserts I'd recommend is their bread pudding, big enough for two or one sweet tooth craving person. Overall it's a great place for large or small parties and just a nice place to have lunch or dinner.

If you like seafood, this is the place to go. They always have a selection of great fresh fish and if it's time for oysters, they have a nice selection of them, too. Although the view is not the best, it's still nice to sit outside and have some oysters while enjoying a glass of white or sparkling wine.

Although they specialize in seafood, they have some really good pasta, too.

I found King's when I was spending every other week in Orange County on business, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorite seafood places. The fish is absolutely the best I've ever eaten, served piping hot and always fresh. If you're an raw oyster guy (which I'm not) they have oysters from all over the LA area, posted on a blackboard and priced daily. I'm told that each area produces oysters of different flavors, although I didn't actually try any. The only problem I ever had was being refused service at table because I was alone - I simply left that night, greatly disappointed. But another night the manager went out and bought some "real" tea (they ordinarily serve some sissy strawberry stuff) and made me a big cold glass - what a surprise!

Pros: fish, shrimp, oysters

Cons: crowded

The food at Kings Fish House is a bit high-priced, as are the drinks. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly - but then again, they are ALWAYS busy. The bar is noisy, and lots of fun. There's an outside dining area that is fun - but be ready to smell cigarette smoke. The oysters are incredible - but the rest of the food is just ok. Evenings and weekends can involve a long wait for seating.

PROS: Fun bar
CONS: Long wait, prices are a bit on the high side for the quality of food

One of the best Creme Brulee's you'll find so far in OC. Their fish is WAY overpriced for just maybe better than average food. Their fish & chips are like $16 and taste like Mrs. Pauls. :( Their lobster is very good! Yummy! BUT... way overpriced for what you get. The desert alone is almost worth the trip
