A piece of Hawaii in California!

I personally like to go here for the spa. You can exercise, sit in the hot tub, get a massage or reflexology & then enjoy the sauna, steam room & relaxation room. After that you can get lunch, walk around the gorgeous grounds or talk to the live parrots. You really feel like you have "gotten away" when you are there. The landscaping is amazing with the ponds of fish & ducks. It is truly a unique spot in Pacific Beach.
Go take a walk anytime & see for yourself!

The area around the hotel is beautiful but I am more of a horticulture and animal fan so the plants and the birds were the best part of my visit. Besides having your traditional parrots or Macaws to entertain guests the hotel also hosts a

Pros: Tropical paradise
Cons: Little-No parking for people going to the lobby to check in
Highly Recommended. If you want PB (Pacific Beach) it's the best there. The area's fun for family but is primarily a college-age party zone.\r

The hotel itself is very nice by any standards, although not super-posh like some it's not

Pros: Great escape from the PB madhouse, great pool, steps to relaxing on sand, luxurious grounds and nice big rooms with newly remodeled stuff.
Cons: free arcade has some broken machines and in need of remodel.
I have stayed here with family before when visiting my brother in the oh-so-up-and-coming Pacific Beach and the hotel offers a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the beach streets. There is a nice cafe on the premises and its right

Pros: Tranquil San Diego Esape
I live this place when I'm looking for a place to stay in this area of San Diego. Beach front rooms, great running paths steps from your lanai. The whole place is done up tropical style... they even have dozen's of tropical birds throughout the property. Great place to come with kids. Pretty central to the attractions, etc in the area.

A classic tropical or tiki hotel located on beautiful Mission Bay in San Diego. The hotel has been renovated many times over the years but still keeps many of it's tiki touches througout the grounds.
Definitely a hotel to stay at during the summer. You walk out your room door and you're literally on the beach. Many San Diego attractions near by. Don't forget to take the Bahia Belle boat which isn't too far from the hotel.

There is nothing really special about this resort, even with as much as they advertise about it. The price didn’t really seem worth it to me. Although the staff was really friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere wasn't the greatest. I somehow expected more from it, maybe I expected too much. The place is huge.

This is the best lace to take a vacation in San Diego. The location is excellently situated right on the bay. The hotel is decorated superbly. The rooms are the best you can find and the catering is great. If you know someone looking for a wedding location, be sure to tell them about The Catamaran.

When I went here, I was very suprised about how nice it looked. There is a lot of wildlife around and lakes near the walkways. The rooms there were great and had a great view of the beach and the bay.
