Reviews for Challenger School

Ratings_icons A school delivering academic excellence

Venkataraman S.

I have had two children in Challenger schools. The younger one is in Challenger, Palo Alto now and I am very impressed with the school's approach to educating him. The staff expect a lot out of my son. The two desirable outcomes are that even in meeting part of the expectations, he is learning a lot. More importantly, he is kept so focused on his goals he does not have time to get into trouble.
I am very happy with the school.

You get what you paid for.... "what they think is an education worth $$$" I feel that the challenger in Palo alto sucks because of the uncaring management... "drop your kids, we give him/her the education we think is good. Don't be interested, don't ask questions and don't bother us, we know what is best for your kids.
What Challenger in Palo Alto needs to do is to improve and educate their staff. The school targets the Indian and Asian community and has no diversity. The directors have no communication skills and feel they work for corporate not the parents therefore no need to communicate with the parents.
It may be that they are underpaid and overworked.

Ratings_icons Excellent School & Staff

We've been very happy with Challenger Pre-School.
Our 4-year olds go there and they come back full of facts and
seem happy learning. The staff is supportive and helpful.
They're a bit expensive but worth it.

PROS: Excellent academics and supportive staff

What set this school from the rest is the attention each teacher gives to each student. They don't treat you like another person. They want to help you grow and want you to learn. They take the extra necessary steps to influence you in your school work.

Ratings_icons Good Preschool (for some)

If your child is ready for an academic preschool program, I think you'll find he or she will be happy and make a lot of progress. Most kids come out of the preschool knowing how to read a bit.

Our younger child went through this and was excited when he arrived and when he left at the end of the day. If your child is both learning and happy, there's a lot to be said for the program.

The staff was very good. They are a highly structured school, which leads to less inconsistency in the preschool teachers.

Ratings_icons Challnger school at Palo Alto

I had very good impression about challenger schools, but when I sent my kid to Palo Alto school, my impression is completely changed. Staff at Palo Alto school is completely ruthless, they are just money minded and they do not show any courtesy with parents. Their directors are very frustrating; I am not sure why their management not taking any action or teaching some customer care classes to their directors.
I never recommend any one to Palo Alto challenger until their directors are replaces especially in their pre school program

Pros: Good curriculam

Cons: Very bad directors
