My friends with 2 little kids stayed here last year and it turned out well.
They were able to have a full kitchen and refrigerator and space to spread out. I think there was also a free buffet breakfast.
I probably wouldn't choose it for myself but would definitely recommend it for families.

We had family stay here and they were disappointed that the ambiance of the location was not nicer for being in La Jolla. It is fine for business travelers, especially those staying for extended times, but if you are looking for something charming or near the beach, this is not your best choice. It is near UCSD if you are visiting there and don't plan to stay in your room much.
