Hook-Up Beauty Salon

The Hook Up is conveniently located off of the 680 highway in the Bay Area and caters to mostly African American hair. Parking is a bit of a challenge during the day, but in the evenings, the small parking lot clears out for costumers to park. The Hook Up has four stylists, however they all work different shifts so calling to make an appointment is essential. The voicemail is usually on during the day but Ive found that someone will call you back within 24 hours, I like that the Hook Up is clean, well lighted, friendly and a calm environment to get your hair done. There arent any kids running around, music or a DVD is always playing for those who are waiting to be placed in a chair and the prices are very reasonable however they do vary from stylist to stylist. The Hook Up also sells hair care products like Dudleys and Motions, which arent readily available in the area.
