Let's be honest... this isn't a luxury resort. However, if you find yourself on a long drive on the 5 and need a place to crash for the night, this is the best choice in the area. Clean rooms, nice staff, and breakfast in the morning.
3We have stayed here a few times on long car journeys up north. Though it may not be much to look at from the outside, the rooms are clean, the staff is very nice, and they do have a well stocked free breakfast in the morning. It's a great place to stop if the car trip is getting too long

We were on the return leg of a holiday road trip from Arizona to Seattle and happened to land at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Nella. We were traveling with two greyhounds, so finding a pet room was the priority. We were able to map our our trip in advance of leaving so we went ahead and made reservations online with our room.\r\n\r\nUpon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised that the facility looked new and was squeaky clean. The front desk was busy, but the clerk was unfailingly pleasant and handled everyone as quickly as she could. I could see the enclosed pool area through the glass doors while awaiting my turn to check-in, and was impressed with the entire facility.\r\n\r\nOur pet room was at one corner of the property, and we made use of the cow pasture that was directly adjacent to the parking lot - our greys loved going out and sniffing all the great smells while pottying! The room itself was absolutely amazing, beyond our expectations. It was a huge, almost suitelike room and was updated and sparkling clean...no pet smells or stains anywhere. The room had both a fridge and a microwave, which was very convenient as we were traveling with holiday leftovers and goodies. \r\n\r\nI will make sure to stay at the Holiday Inn Express any time I am in Santa Nella! Of the four motels we visited on our road trip, this one was the best.
