Totally cool and futuristic building that has a wonderful complex and art and games. A large grassy area to watch kids jump around and see locals sun on the rare not foggy and warm days.

I have performed here many time with my performing arts class. We also showcased our art work here. It's a nice place to visit and the center is rocks!

I have come here to watch several performances from different high schoolers throught the bay area. It is wonderful to watch such wonderful talents like my neice who's class made classical instruments out of ordinary household items. She made her instrument out of an iron.

While walking along Mission and Howard street in San Francisco, my husband and I came across the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. I did not know one existed until I noticed the crowd outside. We decided that it would be a fun thing to do. It is really nice inside. Alot of artwork to stroll and look at. They also have many shows scheduled, but unfortunately, one was not scheduled that day. You can sit in the garden outside and have coffee and dessert at the next door bakery. Also right near the center is the meery go ride of horses, the movie theater, bowling, and a kids playground. Its a wonderful area, the center gives the area a real flare.

Yerba Buena Gardens is not just a fancy schmancy place to muse at art and flowers. The most exciting concerts have been performed here. Outdoor concerts are fantastic because not only do you get to listen to great music, you can enjoy it while sunbathing or gazing at the stars. It is fun to lay out blankets and just lay on the grass with hundreds or thousands of people sharing the good vibes.

Although SFMOMA houses modern art, I find it's exhibitions in general (with a few exceptions) stale. I usually leave in a bad mood with curses on my lips. In opposition (in viewpoint and location), you have YBCA. Not only does it house
