Having dealt significantly with Valley Cabinet, I found their ""CUSTOM"" work to be sub standard at best. Sure they use fancy hardware but the materials are sub parr and overpriced (they buy wholesale material and mark it way up). If you desire intricate designs and features they scoff and and say this is what we do and nothing more, so tuff luck. The prices are outrageous! And most of their really nice stuff is ordered in from other sources (ie cope and stick doors, dovetail drawers). Most of the interiors are particle board even if covered by Melamine. And they are shot gunned together with staples. The finish is very poor as well, Valley does not often finish nor install their Cabinets but the local contractors they suggest/use are very poor indeed. Have not seen a good finish (stain technique, lacquer) or sanding job yet. Customer service can very poor and your often made to feel like an idiot when you suggest something you have seen in a magazine or Home Depot. All in all, not a custom shop in the least, I would choose an out of town shop or a big box over them any day. This is one local business that has been alone in the world of construction/remodeling for far too long. In a skill/ideas vacuum so to speak.

Their cabinets are not good quality, and are too expensive for what they are. The unfortunate thing is they really are the only cabinet place in town. Their cabinets fall apart after a year or so. I definitely would recommend going somewhere else if you can. They do offer other products also; not just cabinets.
