This is the perfect place to take an out-of-towner. The scene is gorgeous and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. The sourdough bread is out of this world!

Dining at fisherman's is always a great experience. Since it is directly on the pier overlooking the ocean the scenery couldn't be better and the food taste good too. They use to have one on Newport Beach Pier back in the late 80's.

Dining at fisherman's is always a great experience. Since it is directly on the pier overlooking the ocean the scenery couldn't be better and the food is nothing short of excellent. A great place to take a date. Be sure to try their white clam chowder in a bread bowl. YUM!

We have a standing ritual of going to the Fisherman on Thursdays for the Happy Hour Specials. Great deals on food and drink and oh that view! Best fried calamari I've had anywhere and fresh smoked albacore that almost rivals Newport's Crab Cooker. The sourdough bread tastes like it was flown in from Frisco! Try mixing the red and white chowder for an interesting and yummy combo! This is a great place to simply hang out and enjoy great food and drink.

PROS: View, Great cocktail hour deals,
CONS: Can be very crowded in summer

Fisherman's Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant, specializing in seafood, but also has hamburgers. Has an indoor and outdoor dining with large umbrella tables over the Pacific Ocean. next to the Pier. Very popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Has a happy hour.

PROS: Lovely to dine anytime
CONS: Meter Parking

The combination of their excellent food along with their excellent view makes this our favorite place in San Clemente, CA.

Their specialty is serving great seafood on a deck that is actually OVER the ocean. This is a classic romantic date spot.
