The 1956 Ekstrom Lamino chair I found on Ebay arrived at our house with a broken leg due to poor packaging - the shipper's insurance will pay for the repair so I set about trying to find the most experienced furniture repair store to help me with the repair. This store is not it.

Point Loma Cabinet and upholstery did not do the specific work I was looking for, but they recommended a company that did an outstanding job. (Total Leather Care of San Diego). I would not have had the wonderful results without your WEB site. Thank you very much.

WAS 1st to call and respond. on time to apraise and estimate. Did not offer the June discount as
stated over the phone. I had to bring it up. Took the table and chairs and gave an estimated completion time as 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. did not get a call to update. had to call and find out if it was ready and set up delivery time as I was informed when i called that the furniture was ready. Delivered on time as scheduled. refinishing is very good. i feel it could have been done a little better, but is acceptable.

Buzz and his staff did a simply superb job in refinishing my teak (from Scandanavia) hutch into a wonderful espresso chocolate color. The wood grain never looked better - looks like a new piece of furniture. They also refinished some oak kitchen chairs for me - once again a top notch job done by people who obviously have an extreme eye for detail. Thanks for all your help!

They did a wonderful job. Great customer service as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had damaged couch cushion completed, re do zipper and padding. We orginally planned on purchasing new Couches but Point Loma Cabinet & Upholstery did such a great job, we plan on keeping the Couchs. Thank you Point Loma Cabinet &n Upholstery.

The end products were quite good. I had two pieces shipped from a family home in New Orleans that had some water damage. An excellent job done on a 1930's radio cabinet, an a very nice job on a 19th century desk. The projects took a bit longer than expected and the office seemed a bit confused at times needing a few reminders to get things done right and delivered back to me but overall a good experience if you are not pressed for time.
