Sushi Zono

This is located on Hamilton Ave. across from Mervyns, behind the old Country Charms store.

Tempura and sushi are very good. Dinners for two are available. Green tea ice cream is delicious. Service is hit-or-miss.

Sushi Zono has a bit more seating than other sushi places in the area including some booths that are a little more private, so it's a nice place to go with a group for lunch. The quality is very consistent and prices are extremely reasonable.

Great sushi, kid friendly, OK service, very well priced
First, the sushi is always good as is every other type of dish we have tried.
Second, we have 2 small kids and the staff and patrons are very understanding if we ask for a special menu item or one of them is a little cranky. We have noticed quite a few other families there also so I'm sure others are also happy about the flexibility.
Third, the service can be a tad slow if they are full. We especially notice if they are training new help. This is slow to take an order, once they have actually taken the order, the rest flows pretty well.
Fourth, price - very well priced, not cheap (I'm a little nervous about cheap raw fish) but we always walk out saying "we got all that food for only $xx.xx". Our friends have also commented on the pricing.
Note: they are usually not open on Mondays
