i actually had a really different experience from these two users. i was also referred to there by several of my friends who pretty much pointed me to there as the best place to go. i guess that is how they came up with such a non-ordinary name. but anyways, i had a great time finding all the tiles i needed for remodeling. i would disagree with whoever said they have shoddy stuff. i actually found many of the european tiles really awesome. i also bought the marble tiles and yea, they are porous as the other reviewer said. but my contractor said thats how all marble tiles are like and that they are indeed fragile. but it was worth it and now by bathroom looks amazing. sitting on the toilet seat and just staring at my wall is a great experience.

in terms of customer service, yes sometimes there are much more customers than help available. but just keep looking and when you see one of the workers free, steal him or her before someone else does. they were really helpful in helping me calculate everything and matching all my tiles. 5 stars-

We purchased granite floor tiles from Best Tile, a few months back. At the time they said they had PLEANTY of matching countertops for our tile and to not worry about buying the countertops at that time as they were sure they would not sell out. We went back the next week to get the matching countertops and they were OUT. They were not at all appologenic and said you can buy a different one that was close (but really it was not that close) but it is about 8X the price of the one we originally wanted! We were very upset. They also said they were not getting anymore anytime soon. If we had known they would run out we would have bought the countertops at the same time! So instead of a matching countertop for $150 we had to purchase one that did not match for $850. Needless to say we were QUITE upset! We will NOT be returning to their store. Just for happenstance we were in the neighborhood a month later and THEY HAD THE MATCHING COUNTERTOPS AGAIN at the low price! I think they just wanted us to spend a lot more money in there. I wish we didnt go in.............

PROS: Cheap and great quality
CONS: If you see it you have to get it today because it may not be there tomorrow

1 Stars: Not the Best Tile But Definitely the Worst Customer Service. (by T L.)

We tried to exchange a very expensive tile because it was chipped--we did not chip it--a piece of it popped off when it was touched. The tile is a defective piece. Underneath where the piece popped off you can see a small hole that was an air pocket that created a weak spot on the tile when it was fired. The first young man we spoke to wrote up a return slip and then went to get the sales woman who sold it to us. While waiting for the saleswoman, another young woman came and at some point she told one of the other clerks something to the effect that, yes, *EVERYONE* makes mistakes and then they want us to pay for them. Both of the ladies behind the counter were very rude. The saleswoman only glanced at the tile when I told her we wanted to return it, her demeanor was very hostile. No smile, no hello, only, that is a chip you made on it (again, she only glanced at it). After some more heated discussion, from both sides including the other woman who we found out was the Store Manager--the one who said everyone returning merchandise made the mistakes--we wrapped up the tile because they would not accept it and we had to leave with a defective tile. I am so glad that we did not buy all of our tile from them--we had plain white tile that was given to us that we intended to use with the decorative tile and thought if we needed more we could go back to Best and get additional tile. We will not be going back for *ANY* tile from Best, and I am going to tell the person who recommended them of my experience and encourage him not to recommend them to anyone else--they make him look bad. They are way too high priced for the shoddy products they are selling.
