Takahashi Market carries all of your Japanese, Hawaiian groceries needs. The carry it all from poi, pork lau lau, to many others. Stop driving by and go in.

Yes, its small and yes, its not in the best area, but all the people around sure know what it is, and that says a lot. Takahashi's has been around for along time, providing a lot of hawaiian goods (i.e. hurricane popcorn, Locals' sandals) and the common japanese necessities that a person would usually find in a japanese mart at decent prices. They also have a mini ordering station for cold food to store, warm food, or fresh hot food depending on when a person wants to eat. The service here is always friendly and comforting

IF you are ever looking to buy Hawaiian groceries look no further. Takahashi is the place to go. They have fresh Poi, Lau lau & Kalua Pig. My husbands does all of his shopping here when he wants to bring a little bit of Hawaii to San Francisco. The service at this Market is outstanding. I recommend you call them before visiting to see when they receive there delivery from Hawaii..
