I've been going here with my family for the last 15 years. It is a fairly priced, great tasting Japanese noodle place that offers something for everyone (as in everyone in the family - including the 8, 13, 19, and 24 year old). I adore the people who work here - they always stare at my oldest daughter and can't believe so many years have gone by (don't we all).

I think the place is really delicious and caters to all your needs. I would highly recommend this joint.

Pros: Absolutely love this place

Thia place has great noodle soups, I've been going here for about 5 years and the food is great and so are the waiter staff. If you go try the Ramin or Buckwheat Noodle and the Chicken Curry rice is great too.

Pros: Great for Soup

Cons: Need's more Sushi Rolls

Here you can find unique Japanese dishes which you can't find in other Japanese restaurant. They have alot of Japanese regular customers, this show that they have good tasting Japanese food. The prices on the menu is around $5 for smaller size of soup noodle and around $9 for bento meal. As for the service is quite good and overall you will feel comfortable eating there.

Since I like ramen very much, I tried a lot noodles restaurants in bay area. I think this is a store that most people will be satisfied. It is a casual store and not to much decoration. But they have really good noodles, especially the soup. The size is big but the price is resonable. I went to the restaurant almost every week and have tried most of their noodles. Most of them are good. If you like japanese noodles, you have to try this restaurant.

Ringer Hut is an awesome Japanese restaurant in San Jose. I definitely recommend their champon ramen the broth has a really distinctive taste and is absolutely delicious. The service weve gotten is inconsistent. One time we went it was absolutely fabulous, and the manager actually gave me their mix CD when I inquired about the song playing over the speakers. The other time was not-so-good when the host gave us as bad time about being late to pick up our take-out. Still, the food is worth it, regardless of service.

Ringer hut is a restaurant from Japan that was brought here to America. They are a noodle house and mainly a noodle house. They give large portions at a resonable price (huge bowl of noodles and gyoza or fried rice combo for around 8 bucks) which will satisfy everyone. Now they're not the kind of noodle house where they make the noodles in house, they might, but I'm not betting on it. But they have good soup and flavors that are different and distinct. They bowls are generously filled with pork, egg, bean sprouts and lots of goodies. Of course they'll add different items into your bowl if you like as well.

They are a noodle house. I do not recommend their bento boxes or any other meal options. They make a great fried rice with pork and a pretty good gyoza, but that's about it. Everything else is pretty bad. Go for the noodles.

Because they are only a noodle house, I wouldn't recommend this place as a good Japanese restaurant. People might be thinking sushi when you say that. I would just say it's a good ramen place.

There is no udon either, just ramen, champon and dried noodles with chinese style toppings. All are good. If you go with two friends, I suggest getting all three and trying each other's out. They are three very different styles of noodles.

I normally get the shoyu ramen with fried rice combo and have left over fried rice which I eat for lunch the next day. The price comes out to about 10 dollars if you get a drink as well and then 11-12 after tip.

The restaurant is certainly a casual dining place. Normally a lot of kids and families and japanese people that are around the area. Kind of diner style, you can sit at a bar as well and see them cooking. Normally lots of seating, but if you go during a crowded time, you will have to wait.

This Japanese restaurant offers great food and the portions are more than generous. The service is average, or slightly above and prices are moderate. In terms of atmosphere, it is casual and family friendly. They don't seem overly concerned with decor, but as I said, it is a casual place. I would definately recomment this place to anyone who likes Japanese food.

PROS: Great food, moderate prices, casual atmosphere
CONS:
