Master Car Care & Smog Center

while the shop is always jammed packed, and it looks a bit disorganized, don't let that fool you. these people know exactly what they are doing. I was rear ended while stopped at a red light, and my Lexus service fellow recommended Jimmy Cho at Master Car Care. There was some damage that didn't show up at first evaluation, but Jimmy got right on it and made sure the insurance company took care of it. He also can arrange inexpensive rates for a rental car if you want one. My Lexus looks as good as new, and I couldn't be happier. Don't less this one go by-

I found this gem of a repair shop 6 years ago. No honest repair shops? You haven't been here. They won't try sell you something you don't need, ever. I once needed an exhaust manifold for a BMW, a $700 part I could not afford. They found me a used one for $7, and I walked out with a $85 bill. The car is still in excellent condition.
They are excellent mechanics and will not gouge you on prices, which are very reasonable...almost half of what you'd pay at a dealership, no matter your car or make. Sometimes they are late in finishing a job, up to a day or two...because they have to depend on timeliness of parts delivered to them. A small price to pay for major $$$ savings. This is rare though.

PROS: Honest, Excellent Work, Very Reasonable Prices
CONS: Occassionally late in finishing a job due to dependence on parts delivery

I have been shopping around to get a good regular mechanic to take care of our cars- and I don't think that Master Car Care and Smog Center is the place. While the staff is nice and knowledgeable and they do have a nice selection of parts in stock, the prices are much more expenisve then many other local places- both for parts and for simple jobs (oil change, tune-up, inspection) that I had quoted. So if you don't mind spending a little extra money then this place might be ok for you.
